you are also able to craft an improvised quiver with your starting gear, it doesnt need to hold arrows but acts as even more extra space

@@ryanthurston2600 I hate to be a Debby Downer but long story short no, its not worth it. Yes, the devs are reguarly updating the game. Yes, the game is beautiful. Yes, it is a survival, crafting, zombie game. However, the learning curve for this game is insane. To reload a gun you have to take the magazine out of the gun, reload the mag, then put it in the gun. I was told there was going to be an update where you have to manually put each and every single individual bullet into the magazine! That is too many steps for me. Way too "realistic". Sometimes realistic is too realistic. I was also told that they were going to add in an update that the more you run the more durability damage it does to your socks and shoes. The zombies RUN after you so if you're just starting out and have no weapons you can't outrun them. There is also other things besides zombies, wolves for sure, possibly bears as well (I can't remember) Who knows, if it sounds like your type of game go for it, if you are buying it thru steam make sure you play under 2 hours to see if you like it or not, because that way you can get your money back. Great video. I'd add that the hidden chest should buried under a tree after you cut it out. Like a big lone tree somewhere you can recognise it but noone else close to the shelter but not too close.

This is a really helpful video for new players, only thing im missing is after you established a shelter what to do from there. Because i can imagine you want/need to build a base, find a vehicle and loot bunkers. Can you do a follow up video on these topics?

Everything is bound to the server, including your character

Yeah as the game gets updated things are bound to change. But you need gun powder for a fire? Try the arrows next to the mat icon, this will cycle all the mats you can use instead!

Yes this is true, You can block windows and add base materials if you so choose.

I got this game in 2020 and ended up getting a refund because I would spawn and there'd always be wolves nearby and they'd kill me immediately, before I could craft a weapon. Looking into getting it again because I need a good, in depth survival/ crafting game and hope I have better luck the 2nd time around.

Yes they added this requirement in the update, you can find them easily in car wreckages, trash, trash bins or in shed like structures. Also any construction related poi's will have plenty!

No unfortunatly, you need to make a new character for each servers, also you cannot have multiple characters on one server. But you can have multiple single player saves.
