Ikr, how you going to fine one of the biggest names in cod esports for being truly honest and putting his opinion out there, sad part is most everyone agrees. Mp5 has been the king of this cod since day 1 and they have made no effort to balance it, you go into a pub game of any kind and there is always at least 1 person using it. If this was a treyarch game it would be more balanced and you could use any gun to have fun and not feel forced to use the mp5 or m4. Okay I'm done

It’s in one of his vlogs somewhere and the green ones he got off Hector for the video the Huntsmen filmed with the league picking some shoes out before or during the filming for the league at the beginning of the year. It's weird to see Call of Duty go down this road. It can't just be for spectating, what made the scene so enjoyable and intense from Black Ops 2 through to BO4 was the competition. Viewers were trying to become competitors, some made it and there was energy for the competitive scene from the roots up. Now it's all trying to be fed down from the top, doesn't work that way.

Couldn’t have been more right about this, this league is so culty that there’s almost no hope of trying to get into it. Look at censor. Who may not deserve a chance but even if he’s nasty at the next game you really think they’ll give him a chance? This shits being spoon fed to people instead of letting competitors have drive and motive to participate in the growth of this league

Yeah I don't get the logic. It's as if these esports kids are somehow more deserving than others when they're just a product of opportunity and talent? Many others wish they could get the break these pro's got and make money, hence everyone playing pubs like there's a million on the line and begging for league play.

As analogous to Skateboarding, Hecz reminds me so much of Stacey Peralta. The way he guides his riders (players), Stacey always wanted to position his team for success, knowing they couldn’t skate forever (competitively) and that one day they’d run and own their own companies and teams. It’s a fine balance being mentor and an owner leader. A super interesting podcast... keep up the great content, oh and good luck for the next series!

Dafuq?in what game/sport does a professional competitor enjoy the feeling of losing?why would you compete if you do?
@cigoal
@cigoal 4 жыл бұрын
LLV I think OP was referring to how Seth has frequently said in the past regarding competing his mindset of “We win we win, we lose we lose” mentality instead of a true competitor’s mentality where you want to beat everybody and get upset when you don’t win a game/tournament” So obviously Seth (or any pro for that matter) flat out says they like losing, it’s just that the way his mindset is framed kinda rubs people (including myself at the time) the wrong way as if he doesn’t have a winners mentality.

Laogic Yeah, I agree with you. I also remember Karma saying something along the lines of “hate losing more than you love winning,” which I find to be relevant in this.

I love how supportive Seth’s girlfriend seems. She’s always at his interviews, events, etc. Literally everything involving his career. It’s really wholesome.

Scump and Nadeshot imo are the kings of COD. the only real names that ring a bell no matter where you are. my friend doesn't even play cod and knows who scump and nade are. it will be a sad day for comp, but will get to see our boy stream every day :D

i like it when you guys talk about things that are uncomfortable to touch on such as matt and seth beef, gunless being dropped, what happened with dashy and teej. I know a lot of this stuff has been answered but we never had anyone sit down and talk about some of it on camera.

I haven't played COD in at least 5 years, my last console was the PS3, and I don't stay up to date with the competitive scene at all. I still come back to see what Scump is up to. I'd watch him no matter what he was doing.

You guys make content every week (streaming, KZbin shows, Warzone uploads, etc.) to boost up the Call of Duty community and give it content to watch. So I am blown away that they would even try to piss you guys off lol.

To piggy back off of what you said Hecz, (in response to scump saying "live and die with call of duty") you guys have always won people over with your positive personalities regardless of a good game to watch ya'll shred. I've been watching vlogs/content since 2013 when I was in middle school with my friends...I'm 20 now and I still enjoy watching videos like these because you guys are as real as it gets. If I could tell Scump this, know there's a lot of people out there who will always want to follow whatever it is that's making you happy at the end of the day. I feel most people who care about the og's aren't ever going to fade.
