Scunthorpe United 0 - 4 Mansfield Town

Fans protest, walk to the ground. Tennis balls, on the pitch. Fans on the pitch and I left a match early for the first time ever. Who says it’s boring watching Scunthorpe? Been lots of talk about things happening and today they did. Whether you agree with it or not. Talk of new owners too, some names have been mentioned. Also heard it’s two different parties that are interested. Watch this space, I guess.
Anyway on to the game, we lost 4-0 enough said haha. Fair play to Mansfield, they’re flying up near the top. We were making silly mistakes, seems to be the norm for us. Young players in as well, that had to step up a few steps today I’d say. Playing against the likes of Bowery, Perch, Quinn, Longstaff I could go on. It was a tough watch and I’d imagine tougher to play in.
Anyway on to Orient, see you in London.

Hopefully get some new owners in, something appears to be happening on that front. Just have to wait now. Yeah, you see it happen to other clubs and never think it will happen to your own. Unfortunately it happens quite a lot now too, with bad ownership.

Sad to see Scunthorpe in this state, a club that's been in the Football League for over 70 years. Bad ownership's been a rising problem the last few years. Hope things get sorted out soon, from a Posh fan

We've been there buddy in 2008 - 2013, five long hard years. I feel for you and the boys, unfortunately, people who run football clubs, will NEVER, EVER, love the club as genuine fans will. Get rid of the dead wood, rebuild, be positive in adversity. Good luck lad, me, and every other lower league football fan, wishes you the very best.

Horrendous situation for Scunny , we almost had the same situation here at Swindon. Fed up with the owners that keep turning up ruining clubs perhaps one day the football league will sort it out . Good luck next season.

I'm an oldham fan, went to scunthorpe 2 months ago when we sold out the away end. All I can say is Scunthorpe will bounce back, it's such a shame to see historic clubs like oldham and scunthorpe struggling in league 2 for survival with the mercenaries in charge, but I'm telling u now, we will bounce back, scunthorpe will bounce back, its only so long these tyrants can be in charge before being forced to sell up. On the positive side, at least u can play grimsby next season 😂. Can't get too cocky cause we might go down n'all. Just between oldham, barrow and stevenage and its going to be tight.

It's sad to see scunthorpe united getting relegated from league 2! their is a lot of players that are in your squad that aren't fit to wear the shirt! keith hill will recruit the right players in the summer. I expect you to be challenging for the national league title next season.

Yes people have had enough now. In a way I’m glad something happened. It shows that fans are frustrated and in all fairness it was very tame. It happened and it was talked about. So if people weren’t aware of any issues at the club, they may be now. We go again though, be nice to see at least a win (for us) before the season ends 🤦🏻

When we went down last season into non league as expected scunny laughed at us, took the piss and was buzzing. We was in a similar situation to yourselfs perhaps not as bad but a chairman who had rotted the club to the core, made out he had the club at heart but wouldn’t put in. As rivals looking beyond the fact your getting relegated and coming into a league that’s hard to get out of this is what it’s like, fucking daunting, no piss taking required I’d rather have our derby all day long than it not, seriously hope scunny don’t go ground and investors with the right mind preferably supporters of the club step in and buy swan out. Keep tha faith and follow thru thick and thin regards GY
