I was wondering if anyone knows if the cymbal line ever gets any love from the percussion judge...I know the focus is probably on the snares, etc...but these guys are just freaking awesome. Was curious if they are ever mentioned in the evaluations?

I'm a year late to this but in the 2019 finals judge tape I think the one comment they got was "cymbals... you scare me, man"

I marched in '09, and on at least on of the tapes the judges said something like "nice groove, cymbals". But in general, yea, cymbals are for the audience, not the judges.
