Holding your dodge.. Choosing when to dodge is perfect counter for scythe... But all Scythe users should have dodge reaction practice instead of reading

@@Blaze_bh the only downside to this (for me) is I have to try. But you'd be surprised how many scythe players in diamond and vahallan spam dair to start their combos.

@@Slixer216 you'll be also surprised how much player get hit by scythe downair at diamond and Vallhalan .. even when it is the most used approach option for scythe (dash jump down air )

You can do n air + jump + s air and repaet for dodge up after u do n light or side light this is better because u don't have to read your opponent jump

I’ll say this, don’t do gc reads. Reading with aerials is much better, mainly because if your opponent wakes up you have no dodge for 2 seconds, also you can get better follow up strings off of something like a reverse dair or nair. That’s just my opinion though

Yes I always recommend my viewers to learn reacting to dodges instead of reading them ... But this was a video for reading dodge up so I have to show every possible way I know

@@Blaze_bh it’s not even reacting, although that is best competitively. My point is that if you want to read don’t use gc’s, there’s always a way to read with an aerial and without using a chase dodge

@@Cloudz_n_rain yup I know man gc reads are used for crazy stuff and are risky too but not everyone is putting their life for this game that's why I covered it because I myself use them a lot as diamond
