One thing I noticed for the first time (but holds true for all incarnations of the sdf1)....I sincerly hope that the macross has inertia dempeners like in star trek otherwise the people in the arms and shoulder parts....I dont want to trade places with them (ouch(

I used to sprint home from the school bus stop so that I wouldn't miss Robotech. Now, 40 years later, I'm older, needing to lose a LOT of weight, listen to my joints do the snap-crackle-pop song when I get up or move around, and if Iron Castle were to do a remake of the Robotech/Macross series with this technology, I would willingly risk heart failure to run home and watch EVERY episode they produce! And to those of us that use to watch the series, when those twin booms come down and prepare to fire, the best thing you can do is either get out of the way or bend over, grab your ankles and kiss your butt good-bye!
