What I like about him is that while he’s revealed to be the mastermind, he purposely downplays his role and tolerated all the jabs all for the sake of looking weak and unimportant until he suddenly strikes.

Like the students were definitely treating Mikado like a pushover before that moment).

[chapter 6 and ending spoilers] i honestly think it's super impressive that mikado _is_ actually the endgame villain of the story 'cause like, the mastermind being revealed in the prologue has always been a thing people know about sdra2 and a unique cool thing it does, but it still left me personally expecting him to be upstaged as a villain by someone else in the end for a lot of the story....... but he wasn't it still comes down to a showdown against mikado despite him having been a constant presence throughout the game, and the fact that linuj made that work so well is impressive to me mikado is a bit more like monokuma personality-wise than monocrow himself is in that he's a lot more playful and goofy and affable, which makes it a lot more jarring when he gets serious or shows his maliciousness, and in dr1/2 monokuma _could_ be argued as still being the villain until the end since junko is basically roleplaying as him...... but mikado manages to be a lot scarier than him, and i think it's because while monokuma _(and junko)_ still mix in jokes and goofiness even with their most twisted actions, which is definitely scary in its own right, mikado plays a much more convincing affable personality while getting dead serious when he actually wants to be and dropping that goofiness entirely when he does he's just ultimately a really great and unique villain, and he adds a lot to the game

Ok he is definitely hinting something there. If Sora was a more diplomatic character she could easily gain information from him. At 1:50 he says that Sora is an im[ortand character. Does he know she is the main character? Is this a virtual reality or a game of some sort? I tied this with him also saying at 3:45 about the brain mechanism and the restoring of memories. My theory is that they are in a virtue world and somehow lost their memories or they are a test subject and the true masterminds either the cooperation is working for or the Voids ( i personally believe they just took over or are also tests) from what Mikado says at 4:03. And about the humans trying to stay alive part at 2:10 is also the world somehow destroyed? And they try to make them the perfect living beings? Anyway it's just a theory from what Mikado had to say so don't except much. thank you for reading.
