Extremely helpful in many ways for understanding, and using the system - thank you (belatedly)!

I just wanted to say how great the support from SDRPlay in general, and Steve in particular has been since I purchased my first SDRPlay device. It will certainly lead me to purchase more from this company in the future.

I didn't specifically mention it in the video but if you want to use one VRX for the panadapter and another VRX for independent monitoring it will only work if you have a broad range RF input to the RSP. So if you have an IF out panadapter setup it will not work.

Hey Steve. Great video explaining all that you taught me last week or so. Eagerly awaiting the new release so I can save the settings. I notice that there is some instability in the setup. Sometimes, the SPX 2 loses sync with VRX 2 and I have to restart the App. Don't know if you've sen that. Anyway, I'm sure going to bookmark this video. 73's.

Ken, can't say I've seen that in my testing, unless you mean that sometimes you set a freq in the VRX and it doesn't "take" in the SP1 window? That happens if you try and input a frequency outside the range defined by your LO and Sample rate. The fix is to turn off LO lock! However, if you did the sums right you shouldn't have to do this.
@kxkayser6 жыл бұрын
Hi Steve. That may be what I did. I also note that if you manually input a frequency in the VRX window, if removes the LO lock just as if you use the Band buttons. Thanks.

Yes, that's why I specifically said click! You can still use the mouse wheel in the SP1 window for tuning at the step size, or hovering over the frequency digits.

One important thing here is you need a decent pc for actions like this, the pc in this video is running at it's limit.

Can you listen to 2m repeaters with sdr uno that require a tone?
@SDRplayRSP11 ай бұрын
SDRuno plus an SDRplay RSP are purely receivers. Transmit tones are needed to activate certain repeaters. With SDRuno you can receive any transmissions from a particular 2m repeater that is in range.

Hi Steve, base on 10 MHZ BW limitation , the example in the video 40-20m, as 30m is inside,no problem to display three band at same time. For the case if I want to sample 40m-80m and also 10m band , which is your suggestion if I want to monitor activity in all three band , as 10m falls outside . Is there a way to show ? SDR RSP1A Thanks in advance, Fernando
@SDRplayRSP6 жыл бұрын
If the bands you want to monitor fall outside the 10 MHz window then you have to switch back and forth to look at each band. You can still use multiple VRX and use the Band select buttons to frame the band of interest - but you won't be able to monitor simultaneously. However, if you have an RSPduo you can monitor 2 widely spaced bands simultaneously, it offers two independently programmable 2MHz windows in 2 tuner mode.

Hi Steve great video. im trying to monitor two frequencies and my second sp although is showing, there is nothing in the waterfall unless I click the RSYN1 on the second VRX. your video is showing signals on both at the same time. am I missing something? if I switch between the two I have signals on both bands.
@SDRplayRSP6 жыл бұрын
RSYN1 is only used to allow sync with your rig via OmniRig. You should be seeing signals on both bands at the same time, assuming both are set to frequencies within the range of your SR/DEC values. If you continue to have problems please go to sdrplay.com and open a support ticket.

Multi Band with RSP1A or only Duo ?
@SDRplayRSP5 жыл бұрын
Rui Vieira Any RSP can show multiple bands provided they are without n the maximum 10MHz sampling window. The RSPduo allows two bands more than 10MHz apart.

Apologies. It's a Virtual RX or Virtual Receiver. (RX is an abreviation for receiver). There's a description on page 53 of the current version of the manual: www.sdrplay.com/docs/SDRplay_SDRuno_User_Manual.pdf
