He’s using extremely colloquial spellings to mimic modern spoken English, to joke to Geraldine about the funny ways common speech and spelling contradict each other, in both languages. English is clearly his first language, or he’s a star student of the English teacher version of Geraldine.

In this case "on" is used as an informal "nous", meaning that the subject is more than one person. The verb is, then, conjugated accordingly. The adjective, however, must agree with the idea of a plural subject. Another example: rather than saying "nous sommes très fatigués", which could sound too formal, we can use the pronoun "on" in the place of "nous", and the sentence would be "on est très fatigués", so the idea of a subject composed of more than one person remains. @@turibiio Thanks, Rafael. I guess it's like the English not using 3rd person singular verbs with collective nouns, which I think is grammatically wrong btw. But my opinion does not matter. Languages evolve and what was grammatically incorrect yesterday becomes correct today.

Can I use the "retrouver" with a personal pronoun to mean "find someone again", or is it always going to mean "meet"? Eg, I get separated from a friend in a big crowd. I find them again. Can I say, "ah! Je t'ai retrouvé!"?

J'ai une question. J'ai parlé avec une autre francophone et ella m'a dit, « personne dit les questions en l'enverse. » Par example, « avez-vous une carte? » devrait être « vous avez une carte? » Toute ma vie au lycée et l'université j'ai appris l'envers. C'est vrai? ou non?

Cela dépend, en français parlé courant, l'inversion est peu utilisée, c'est vrai. Par contre il faut bien marquer l'intonation qui remonte à la fin de la phrase, pour bien faire comprendre que c'est une question. Mais le français que vous avez appris est un français plus formel, qui n'est pas faux. Il est indispensable à l'écrit, et oralement dans des contextes plus formels, comme au travail parfois, ou dans un contexte formel avec des inconnus.
