My children grew up with a Golden Retriever who was obedience trained. She was such a wonderful member of the family. Not to mention all the neighbors and children. She was so sweet, but obedient. When I was being treated for cancer, she would snuggle up to me, looking me in the eyes like she knew I was not well.
