I film a lot spring/summer/autumn. I just would not have the time to upload all the footage during that period. Its great to be able to work on it during the winter when I can spend a bit more time on editing them

i went to portugal in october and mackerel were on the menu everywhere but they didnt say they were horse mackerel, lovly taste but so boney , not half as nice as the mackerel we know and love

From what I have heard not anything about apart from small bass. I do have something in the pipeline but this swell and storm moving in has messed that up for the time being.

@@Trojwaterman Very little being caught here too Troy (S W Devon). The local IFCA are trying to push through a plan to allow commercials to net for Mullet in a local estuary. No money in Mullet, and they're more likely after the Schoolie Bass. 🙄🙄

Do horse mackerel taste different from normal mackerel

Yes they taste different. They are good but I am not keen on the taste if frozen far better fresh. They are filleted the same as mackerel just with the addition of removing the skin just to remove the rough part on the tail.
