@@gsp you should pal. There are some great spots around Ireland but if you are after bass West Cork and Kerry are tops in my opinion. If you're after good mixed fishing for anything from stingray to bass or even undulate ray (extremely localised in Ireland) Tralee Bay in Kerry is great. If heading to Tralee area check out Chris O'Sullivan's channel on here. If you're looking for smoothhound then the east coast, south of Dublin is the place to go. Wicklow and Wexford top counties.

Hi! Really enjoyed your video - I'm an experienced course angler (pike, carp, barbel, etc.) but I've never tried lure fishing on the beach before. I've got an 8' 10-35g lure rod and a decent range of bass lures (including a few that you showed in your video). I'm in SE London, so will be looking to fish along the Kentish coast (happy to drive up to 90 mins or so) - where and when would you recommend that I first try for Bass, as a novice, please? (Also, do I need to get a life jacket and waders?)
@gsp Жыл бұрын
Waders would help and its always good to be safe and have a life belt. They are small, compact but could save your life. I honestly would start luring at the beginning of june. First light and last light anywhere around thanet, between minnis bay and ramsgate. So many good bass marks the world's your oyster. Try to plan it on a day its been windless or winds from sw for a couple 9f days so the water is clear👍

You made a shockleader knot and cut the tag ends off. Did you not think of holding them while you cut the tag ends so you can take your rubbish home and not litter our sea and beaches with your left over shit . People like you give us Considerate anglers a bad name . Hope you will learn from this and see that thise little pieces of line are swollen by fish and sea creatures and it kills them from a slow death . Even a fish you might keep for the plate might have be contaminated and toxic from your lack of education . Please take not of my msg and think in future 🙏

Perhaps before you jump to conclusions you should get the full picture and get back down off your high horse. I take all rubbish home with me. Cut lines, old bait, fish guts and other peoples rubbish. So in future don't make yourself out to be any better than anyone else
