I think it's ok if you are married to a Filipina. Some build a corporation, something. I am not sure about it. But many expats know what's the best thing to do. Maybe I will interview some expats on video soon and ask them about having a property here in the Philippines.

Yes, you have been given the right advice. Foreigners cannot own land in our country. Some still persist. But that is illegal and you will regret it.

Beside the sea,l don't think a nice idea. The sea water level keeps rising.But hoping it won't happen coz that house looks nice and if the sea watet reaches the level of that nice ,the house / money will be useless. . So good luck po.

Yah -- to keep rising at a rate of around 1 foot per 50 years. But his property is elevated by a few meters so maybe we won't live long enough to witness that problem.
