Hello all! We just want to reiterate, this was filmed before social distancing measures and well before the "lockdown" here in the UK. We are so grateful and honoured to have this platform to inspire viewers to get out and explore and discover HOWEVER during this challenging time, we ask you to follow your government's advice on social distancing, self-isolation and be sure to abide by any other lockdown measures in your country/state. We will beat this friends! It is corny, we know, but we are all in this together. Stay safe, Gail and Alex xx

One positive that came from the lockdown was bringing families together. My daughter and I hiked about five times a week, raised two baby squirrels that fell from the oak tree in our yard and we gardened together. I do miss all the time we had to spend outdoors. It made our bond stronger. It warms my heart to see you two explore and enjoy each other’s company too. 🙂

Beautiful! Watching the day back was a little emotional, haha! It feels so long ago now, due to current circumstances! Oscar's face when he watched you say hello to him was priceless!! A very chuffed little boy indeed! His reactions to your gifts will be in our next film, spoiler alert- he was very happy!!! Thank you so much for your continued support, It really means the world to us! Its amazing that, through what started as something to pass the time in Oscar's school holiday, we have met such lovely and genuine people that get equally as excited about the little things as we do... This trip was truly something special and to remember and we can't wait to see the other films! P.s Your garden looks stunning, and looks like a lovely place to be in lockdown ;) Love Kate, Fleur and Oscar!!! xxx

Hi, I felt so moved to see the sea that I cried. I was so ill last year that I hardly got to the beach at all & I absolutely love to swim in the sea. It totally changes me as a person. Transforms me. I had not been to the sea much for the two years previously as I was deathly ill with cancer. Only just survived. I am saving up & the moment the restrictions are sufficiently lifted I am getting in a taxi. Hoping for a good warm October. Thankyou for sharing your visit.

I enjoyed that immensely. I've just finished watching Fleur and Kate's take on your day together over at Kit and Caboodlers. Together with them you are my favourite mudlarking channels. It must have been wonderful to meet them. The warmth and rapport between you all was genuine, touching and heartwarming. I'm stuck on a ship in the Gulf of Mexico and can't get back to my family - who are safe in the UK - so your videos have become more important than ever. That said, this one was especially eagerly anticipated and worth waiting for. Thank you.

I simply love your videos and the music you use though out. If you are looking for content during this time, you could do another video at that bottle dump behind your house. You could also do a video where you both are making jewellery and while you are doing that you could a Q&A. The things you guys do, there aren't very many people, so you should be ok. Even another video treasure hunting on the field of dreams....? That necklace is beautiful. Will you be making more and selling them on you Etsy shops? You could do a video on casting your porcelain doll's leg that you found in one of your previous videos. From start to finish. 😋🤗

Seaham sea glass is so beautiful, some of it really does look like it would have a fruity flavour !!
