dp Amok for the most part they do, but if you're dressed in a black wetsuit and splashing around at the surface at night, a shark could take you for a wounded/crippled sea lion/seal. I recommend getting a colorful/flourescent wetsuit if you're diving/swimming in great white/tiger shark waters, especially close to seal/sea lion colonies. I remember a story about a tourist in South Africa in a black wetsuit who swam ashore on a seal colony island, when she jumped back in she got taken by a great white that was waiting in ambush for seals...

***** A sea lion probably not but there's a lot of things underwater such as coral that can be seriously harmed or killed by divers touching them. So you take on a look but don't touch approach to everything that lives in the ocean. There's also the fact that it's a wild animal with teeth and a natural reaction is to bite so it's also safer to not touch the animals.

The way he’s nervously looking down into the water made me worry about a shark down there, this is why I hate swimming in deep water That uneasy feeling of what’s lurking below you gets me every time

lmao! The beginning is the best part, you must have needed a change of pants. First thing that would had popped in my mind is that a great white was going after it. I've heard that great white are infested in cali waters, scary thought. Have you heard of distilled rotten shark, just pour some of it where ever you are diving and all sharks disappear from the surrounding area.

Sea lion jumps on my ride, Imma assume there's something down there it's running away from. But what an experience. You're very lucky sir. And so is the pup.

Alice Price most sharks don't hunt at night and the sharks that hunt at night are too small or too spooked to attack humans

Great white sharks don't live near coasts.

Purity fbi I have seen you posting that a few times by now... Who told you sharks hunt during day time? Why would a shark have night-vision when hunting on day? Why would sharks hunt at daytime when they are able to sneak better during night time? At about 20m water depth, about 75% of all light is already absorbed. Meaning that if a shark dives deeper than 25m they should have a similar vision than in dusk during the noon. At around 1000m depth, there is pretty much no sun light at all anymore. (Way less than 1%, this zone is called "Aphotic zone", look it up.) Great white sharks have been recorded in deeper than 1,200 m (3,900 ft). Depths... Why would they hunt during daytime if there is no day and night deep down there? And if they surface / swim at about 10m beneath the surface, they are easy to track by all their predators who use sunlight to see (like sea lions do) while the shark has night vision due to it's electroreceptions. ~Pandafish

This video reminds me of old memories. When I was in the military service 10 years ago, I was working at the bunker of Sea area. Oneday at night, several people's heads floated on the surface of the water. At the moment, I was surprised that...cause of They just looks like North Korean infiltration soldier, and also these guys barked like dogs. As I looked closer, I was realise that they are just cute baby sea lion. (It 's a little browner than the guy in this video.) I did not leave a record anyway, but it was a fun experience of my life.
