I was really hoping the version on gumroad would be a full-scale tutorial I could follow along and recreate the image, and then do my own version. But, uh, I see there are some other options that are that. This one is just right up my alley.

So Im in blender 3.0 and I painted my model, but there is no option as sort vertex colours, theres not even a word about vertex. Additionally the colours dont show up in render and idk how to fix it, could we get a tutorial on it?

Why not just do the whole piece in the version that has the vertex sculpt in place from the beginning? Awesome work here :)

Because of the connection to Megascans, the megascans Blender exporter only works with 2.93, so it was easier that way :P

I'm using Blender Octane which doesn't have the 3.0 alpha version. Is it possible to use sculpt vertex paint to assign materials to the mesh on 3.0 and bring it back to Blender Octane to apply a native material?
@IPpainting3 жыл бұрын
1:17 Pleeease use and recomment Multires this is so destructive
@CriticalGiants3 жыл бұрын
Hey, there it really depends, on what you need your model for. Multires is great if you need to retain topology for a potentially rigged model, or if you need to increase your sculpt to much higher resolutions. If not, then I would advice this method as it is faar more flexible.
