Yes, getting the ashen stash quests on the same outpost you bought them at is very much an intentional feature lol. The only exception is Morrow's Peak, which will send you to Ancient Spire instead.

do it with the reapers mark flag on as well for the commendations (also you will make more doubloons if you stack keys then only do the chests cuz you wont always make your money back)

It's better to just buy the key voyage if you happen to find an ashen chest. Especially if your running a brigor gally. Take turns buying the key voyahe and you all make out. Keep it up yo! We need more people making SoT content!
