I never played last raven, but i would be interested in how it compares in terms of overall difficulty.. although here you can die and retry which is some huge quality of life... ps2 games didnt let you do that xb

​@ruikiri last raven is exactly like this game (difficultywise). The pulverizers were giant mechs that had seemingly endless energy and attacks that they could do without being taxed. There were ways to cheese them but you had to be brave. AC6 at least let's you build mech like you have OP intensify.

The Sea Spider is actually quite easy when you realise you can just stand on top of it in the second phase and pile bunker into it's head.

Nice! I didn't think to use that. I used a chain machine gun on each arm, and dual back grenade launchers. Worked great. If you have the weapon bay ost unlocked, and had a chain gun and this arm weapon on one side it would kill this boss even faster.

The regular shotguns are better at staggering. Also for the street sweeper is pretty easy with mobility and shoulder cannons just stay in front hitting him in the face

What worked for me was to lodge my tank AC up its ass and stay there. Twin gatling with a songbird on the right shoulder and a pipebunker on the left. I unloaded the gatlings into him to sap his stability, occasionally with the grenades, and then used the charged spike when he was staggered. He’s big and slow so if you stay on him he can’t really get away from the big hits. And since the gatling guns don’t reload I didn’t have to worry about any delay to swap to the pilebunker. Being right between his legs also makes it easier to aboud his attacks: the machine gun might hit but his big cannon can’t aim that low and his melee attacks always carry him forward a bit so he just goes over you. With enough damage output he won’t be able to do the lethal blade spin in stage 2

Smart Cleaner was a harder fight for me than the spider (once I realized I could attack it from the front I just used the two laser rifles and killed it much easier). The Smart Cleaner took me around 6 tries, and the Spider took 2. Used the same weapons for the spider but I stayed in the air with bipedal, wasn't even optimal XD

The uncharged pile bunker strike does less damage but has good range. It lanches you forward stinger style a good distance and even has a little bit of tracking on it.very useful if you cant get close enough for a charged strike during a stun break.

@ruikiri Having now beaten the game I can say the pike bunker is an absolute problem solver. With maxed out tuning for direct hits and melee strikes you rip massive chunks off enemy AP if not one shoting them outright.

@@ruikiri oh yeah balteus was way easier cuz If you stay under him he can't really hit you. Sea spider kept getting me with his pound attack. Took me like 4 hours to beat. Balteus I beat on my 2nd try

I started having this habit after getting the Terminal Armor OS. Save 2 of the 3 repair kits for after the armor procs, and have 1 for when you don't want to accidentally trigger it prematurely. The barrier triggered has just enough time for you to use the 2 kits.

I just beat him today. For me I just used dual songbirds, a bazooka, and minigun on my heavy tetrapod build. The hardest thing for me was to get dodging down. For some odd reason there's a hard movement lag on my tetrapod build I can't account for. I have energy to dodge but it's like my quick dodges sometimes just come out. Main reason I had so many tries on this. I beat him mainly because it was so easy to stun, thinking about it now I probably could have used Ruikiri's pile bunker strat every time it was stunned which was often though the explosives have such a hard reload timer dunno if I could spare the minigun. Weirdly for me, Phase 1 was infinitely harder than Phase 2.

The SEA Spider forced me into using reverse joints, due to my lackluster dodging skills with the first ever tank treads purchaseable. Also the laser section before the Spider was almost impossible for me to do with tanks.

if you're using tetrapod legs you can hover underneath the bridge + there are little supports under it you can hop scotch on

Sea spider was definitely easy for me! So far the first chapter main boss is the only boss so far that has given me the most troubles.
