With trees all down on the roads and no power we went out to the woods behind our house and found some palms , still standing I add ( the only thing standing it seems) took it back and prepared it people were suprised at what it was they were eating ! but they like it , so THANK YOU FOR THIS (VERY POSSIBLE) life saving video for us ! we will rebuild ! #850Strong

You fools just don't see the paradox, in that it takes much more strength to be your true self and show the soft side of a real man, than to act all tough for the people, that's fear. I used to love a fight and have the knocked out teeth, bent crooked nose and knife scars on my chest and back to prove that I've never backed down from anyone, but there is something inside me that makes little babies and kids and dogs come right over to me and for some reason love me straight out, I believe they trust me because I'm real and full of love. I can't tell you in words, how good that makes me feel in my heart.

We love heart of palm too. Tell your viewers not to cut these trees down, unless necessary. Remember, the cabbage palm is the state tree of Florida. Since the utilization of the palm for food necessitates the total destruction of the tree, authorization must be obtained before cutting. In the old days, the Fl. Seminole Indians were the ones allowed to harvest them.
@Dr_V5 жыл бұрын
One solution to smooth out your cultivation fields is cross-plowing. It's quite simple (just plow the entire area 3 or 4 times in perpendicularly crossing directions), but also quite expansive and comes with the risk that the entire field can turn into a mud swamp if a heavy rain drops before your plants grow reasonably thick roots. A cheaper and more natural alternative is seeding patches of alfalfa in the lowest areas, besides sucking up the water it will also gradually rise the ground level as it traps dust and mud between its dense roots, depending on local conditions you can gain up to 1cm (about a third of an inch) per year. An added bonus is that alfalfa increases nitrogen content of the soil it grows in, so after a few years when you plough it over you'll have a naturally fertilized soil for your new crops.

That looks delicious, and the fact that you are teaching the next generation so that tradition stays alive makes it all the sweeter. God bless you and thanks for making these educational videos. You truly live a blessed life.

Hey I am a wildlife management in high School in South Carolina and we took a trip down to Florida a week ago and it was so fun and we went to the bottom of the lake whales ridge all the way back up and I find your videos very entertaining.
