Wait in this episode Seagal's wife passed away 6 months before? He's obviously been really broken up about it since we've seen him with at least 2 different women and him eagerly getting a lap dance (while on duty) in earlier episodes. Also I think we learned more about Seagal's character in this episode than in all the episodes before it combined even with last episode having him in the military rocking that awesome ZZ Top beard.

I don't have a problem with a widow or widower pursuing a relationship and I wouldn't give him as much crap if it was a year or two instead of 6 months but we've also had a time jump in the series while Radner (Warren Christie) was away so he really didn't wait long before getting back out there.

3:01 Seagal pulls the gun with two hands, yet in the very next shot he fires with only one, and the angle is completely different. In the first shot, he aim directly ahead, versus the 30 degree angle in the second shot. Either this is a legitimate editing error, or someone else was supposed to shoot the guy and it was just spliced together awkwardly.

God almighty, that TV style of editing started in the 2000s (sped up footage/flashes during transition between scenes/drunken camera tracking/shaking camera during chases to try and make a boring badly choreographed chase or fight scene more exciting) gives me a F-ing headache. It's so terrible. Then again, for this show, I guess they had to do something to match the quality of the writing (and the 'acting')....... and btw the guy you tagged as 'losing all his acting roles to Brad Pitt'... I think you meant to call him, Bargain Basement Jason Patric..... ;-)
