Seagull makes a great watch I have the st8000 automatic..I hate mechanical.... but they are pretty...but after years you get tired of winding...

How many times did you wind the watch and what was the power reserve? I bought one and it seemed to be defective- it only wound 9-10 times with the watch sometimes stopped while using the chronograph feature (I ordered a replacement)

@@zapp3681 I didn't count, but i could definitely wind it more than 10 times before it stops. My power reserve lasts more than a day, I'll need to test it to confirm the full power reserve.

You can regulate it more precisely but in real life not much difference.

The one that the actual sea-gull vompany makes is very well made and mich better quality. But you definitely pay for that extra quality. These copies around the 100 or so mark just use generic seagul st movements and often they will come without lubrication or reagulated. Theyre kind of a crap shoot. I still want one for my collection tho and cant really afford 3 or 400$ for a seagull made one

That's a Red Star 1963, not a Sea-Gull. the movement is not signed by Sea-Gull.

The watch itself is not from Sea-Gull. However, the movement is. Sea-Gull does have a more budget friendly version now, but they still don't offer a sapphire crystal.
