thanks for your good explanation. Just acquired an Seagull CPC outboard with serial 2228 E. Looking forward to revive it coming weeks. Totally new with outboards here. De CPC was stashed away for years, dry and greasy, complete as far as i can see. Ill take here apart and will build her up in steps. greets rick karg

Hi I have a blue spark good compression and fuel but damn thing won't start?

maybe keep the throttle open? sometimes it just closes and wont start.

I thought that the points were set at .020".
