No mention though of the super wide nut, 1 7/8 which makes it a different playing experience and a niche guitar for those wanting a wide nut. And it sounds really good as you say!

My S6 has a slotted bridge, which really helps sustain. Most makers stopped slotting bridges as a cost saving measure decades ago. Love Seagul guitars.

It’s a nice guitar I have been playing one since 2020. The only thing is be aware it’s Cedar so if you like to strum, there’s only so much it can take before it sounds muddy and compressed. It really shines w soft picking and fingerpicking. The sound is very low mid forward like 400hz to 900hz and you definitely want brighter strings to help the cedar shine, 80/20 and maybe Daddario XS or Elixie Nanoweb. If you’re into this type of sound cool. I personally think for the price it’s ok, it’s definitely not in the range of a Martin D12 or any of those $1000+ Martin, and it actually shouldn’t because Seagull sells guitars in that price range as well. But again, for anyone looking to buy this guitar.. go and play it in person and make sure you like how it sounds even when strummed hard. I think I’m going for a Martin 11e or D12 next.

This model was their flagship decades ago. It measures 1.8" at the nut. Lots of space for finger picking. They also have a Slim version that measures 1.72".
