That stiff arm kenny threw looked so smooth and effortless. He makes contact with the defender as his near foot hits the ground then he extends into the defender perfectly in sync with his natural stride. Kenny McIntosh is amazing, Gratefulness for Top Billin' for the explanation of the science of him as a player, and the plays. I also like that style of stiff-arm where he placed his hand on the chest to push him into Zombie Town. The stiff-arm to the face-mask, I felt that could lead to injury to the neck, so I do not like seeing when ball runners use the stiff-arm to the face. But how Kenny McIntosh did it, showed the power. No doubt, bro. A stiffie to the facemask shouldn't lead to a neck injury. There have been 7747473737 and no neck injuries. The mask usually sticks out further than the chest, too, so you gain more room... Grabbing the facemask could lead to neck injuries, though, and I've seen that sooo much.

There was such a big dispute in the Seahawk media and community about who was better, Holani or McIntosh, that most pundits said Seattle would keep 4 RBs on the 53, but if they only kept 3, they would cut Kenny because Holani was a very good blocker, but Kenny was poor in that category. But, there is no way they would be able to reclaim him for the PS as he would not clear the waiver wire. So, as should be expected, Holani was cut and reclaimed to the PS. Good strategy by the GM cuz you can't let a purebred and explosive RB and receiver like Mcintosh who should have been drafted in the 3rd or 4th round go to the dogs.

Gotta love Kenny Mac! Of all the new additions tonthe team this year, on offense, Laviska is the man! Loved him in college, so happy to see him in a Seahawk uni! That block he made was money! They ran the same play later with Dee Eskridge and he completely missed and the play went nowhere. Laviska is very much like Deebo Samuel as has been said and I hope coach Grubb works him in as much as possible. Bobo was down field escorting Mac into the end zone. That was good to see. When I used to coach receivers I taught them to take their blocking seriously because it can turn a short gain into a long break away run and it looks like he gets it! Yeah, but they went out and traded for a player after Uchenna's injury and people weren't factoring in Dre'Mont Jones also being moved to EDGE... That makes Jones, Mafe, Hall, and Gipson... With some sets using Mike Morris at EDGE too. You can't keep everyone, bro. I felt like that EDGE from last season, Levi Bell, deserved to make the team, too, from Preseason. The team is kinda loaded for unknown fringe players to make it like that.

Hey Murph, Thanks for the video on McIntosh! Couple of thoughts came to mind: 1) LOVED the 'Like a Zombie' soundtrack to Mcintosh's TD run. 2) I wish (but it won't happen) that Grubb would have some 2-back formations. K9/Charbonnet, Mcintosh/Charbonnet, or even K9/Macintosh...old school football fan here. 3) K9 is the top dog for sure. But I wonder if MccIntosh maybe does a better job running inside AND outside the tackles? K9's inside runs sometimes leave me wanting more physicality. 4) Look for K9 to catch more passes out of the backfield this year. Thanks again for the video! Go Hawks!

2 back formations are kind of overrated because there's only one ball, bro. One of them needs to be a great blocker for it to really have some effect. Walker carrying the ball and Charbonnet blocking for him looks cooler than it is effective because a TE is going to be a better blocker. A better 2 back formation would be having an actual fullback. I appreciate ya!

But Charbonnet lead blocking for K9 maybe 2-4 plays per game might look interesting. Maybe motion a TE or Shenault? Just a thought.

Kenny will be a good 2b RB for the Hawks. K9 is still the #1 until proven otherwise. I didnt see Hollani really do anything special, dont get me wrong Hollani was decent, but its the same argument I have had with some homers for Dee. Unfortunately Dee did too little too late and was never available due to injuries or run ins with the law. Hawks Offense looks stacked, and the trenches will be probably one of the best in the league in a few years. The team is young and will only get better.
