He’s such a good pair with Jones IV. The rook is already very good at eating up blocks and Jones is a helluva run defender when he’s kept clean. As those two get more experienced in this D I expect them to dominate the interior run defense
@aidancoleman7274Ай бұрын
Definitely agree. Jones is amazing but with the caveat that he gets to choose when to engage, not the lineman. Byron Murphy taking up so much bandwidth greatly improves Jones ability to play the way he wants to

Putting it out there now. This new Mike Mac defense isn't LOB 2.0. This is something else. That front seven is a force. Big cat Williams, Byron Murphy, Jarren Reed, Tyrice Knight, Ernest Jones.....yooo
@MrRuslaN100Ай бұрын
Our d-line and linebackers is good, but secondary is good to: Witherspoo, Woolen, Love, Bryant…
@lizamajАй бұрын
@@MrRuslaN100 our secondary is good, most definitely. but it seems to me that they get most of their plays when the front gets to the qb quickly. they're frankly not at the same level of the LOB. Chancelor, Thomas, Sherm. I feel like the front has that same caliber of players compared to the secondary

Most people don’t really notice the hard work those lineman do. It’s great to see plays broken down like this. It makes you realize that the line is where the real football game is won or lost.

It seems like Murphy is pretty wise for a rookie, doesn't it?

Leonard Williams did a Cortez Kennedy impression in the 3rd quarter against a below avg off line. In my fantasy Brian Mone is still healthy and he’s lined up in the middle with Byron Murphy on his right and Leonard Williams on his left. But as it sits, Leonard Williams and Byron Murphy should lineup together in the middle on first down. I want to see that formation against the good offensive line and see what happens. Because those two guys are monsters.
@akasilkyslim18 күн бұрын
I love witherspoon and how he plays but i cant help but wonder sometimes if wed picked Jalen Carter instead and had him and Murphy in the middle together. If thatd work im assuming Leonard willaims could play on the edge when carter n murphy wld be in together, carters been pretty good for the eagles from what i saw. I just remember the 2013 defense and how deep and good our d line was. I loved Red Bryant and Chris Clemmons

Its so weird to me that this is just Seattle the past 25+ years haha. Only 2 teams really consistent enough for me to call a playoff/SB contender. Hasselbeck and legion.. Hardly 4 years from those 2 teams of elite play... But it turns out like this a lot. Tons of potential and a lot of growing through the season haha. Im just stating what Iv noticed. Its not negative. Just interesting.

To be s rook and get to work next to and learn how to be a pro from Big Cat. From both with gets and Giants he was relentless motor guy, shit like that rubs off and molds an already talented kid. They keep backers clean and maintain their gap now with backers that fill their gap this defense could be special down road , this is great building blocks

It is very distracting rewinding every second. Let to play finish and start it over, or let it play out and play it again. It's like you got a new rewind toy and you are using the hell out of it.
