Kmac might be the player I’m most excited to see this year. And that’s saying a lot given how much we can expect from DK, JSN, Shenault, Bobo, etc. To my eyes him and Shenault can probably fill a very similar role in the offense for plays in which either a slot receiver or a halfback is supposed to be in motion. The ability to use either of these guys in interchangeable roles can be used to create a lot of deception in the pre snap game. I like to think of some interesting personnel options you could have in the field. You could come out in 12 personnel with KMac and Shenault in the lineup and given the versatility, defenses won’t truly be able to tell if their facing 02, 12 or 22 because pre snap, Shenault could move to behind the qb, kmac could move to the slot, or a tight end could move out wide to setup a screen. Imagine doing all that kind of stuff making mismatches and still having the likes of JSN, DK and Lockett as deep ball threats. Grubb has a fully stocked pantry to cook with. Power/ finesse+ power / now some speed + power + finesse with McIntosh... we DEEP in almost every position group , rb room deep, db room deep deep, lb, edge, d line just got real good . even qb room looking up w the Howell , wr room is insanely deep and talented. I'm excited every summer, but this year with the talent , new coaches, no holdouts, no drama , dudes are healthy, I have never been so sure of a team that's going to over achieve and surprise ALOT of ppl and no doubt about all the pundits . On " paper" we got something real serious cooking here , never been so excited and optimistic and already salivating at the potential betting value as they will be heavy dogs in at least 50 percent of games, at least thru week 10. Now the o line obviously is the one not so deep room.... But I mean I really like the Haynes pick at g, and also hope olu is ready to step in. At c or t. The rest just have to not be horrible lol and we got a shot! Go hawks!!! Last 2 drafts have been so good !!!! Have a shot here at having an elite defense for years to come. Seems as all the parts in place .

As a Seahawks fan it was a frustrating season, but nothing bothered me more than benching Kenny McIntosh for the entire season, even though he was on the active roster for 7-8 games, was maddening. Not saying he turns them into a contender last year, but when you have DEEJAY DALASS out there looking like Eddie Lacy, you're not doing what's best for the team. Of course I don't know what was happening behind the scenes, maybe he didn't know the playbook, or wasn't practicing well, I would only be guessing. I just hated him not getting snaps.

Our Oline is still below average and is still our Achilles heel. Remember when we had a Oline the numbers Shawn Alexander put up! As well as Lynch with just a middle of the road line.I think K9 could put up better numbers than both with a mid ranked line blocking,and the passing game would be who knows crazy good.
