Thoroughly made video, much appreciated. Have used trident on about 20 paver jobs now but not travertine yet. I see you sprayed then nonslip and mop. Are you applying finish coat after mop to have two coats?

polymeric dry sanding, it doesn’t leave residue? You don’t wet it to lock it in?

Are you broadcasting after flood and top coat? I like the mop idea. I’ve only broomed it in so I may try that. Good stuff man.

Only broadcasting on flood coat. Once that material dries up I do the second coat very lightly and back mop any puddled areas. Locks the non skid in with that second coat.

Rusty, as always thank you for the videos - you have a very great channel I enjoy learning from to grow my business. I was curious about sealing travertine as I’ve heard controversial statements regarding what is best to seal it with, penetrating vs film forming. I see you chose film forming and was curious why you choose they Over penetrating? Will you have to strip this the next time you seal it? Is it best for the stone? Thanks! Just trying to learn

You’re very welcome. Thank you for supporting the channel! Those are great questions. I chose film forming because I wanted the joint sand to lock up (which wouldn’t happen with a penetrating sealant). I’m very transparent on what each one does. I give them my professional opinion for their specific scape and they typically trust me. As I said in the video, if I need joint lock, I’m pushing a film forming. If they have grouted marble / stone , I’ll push for a penetrative sealant.

How was it sealing next to that fake turf grass. You get any on it? I’m a little wary of getting it on the fake grass cause it won’t grow out if I get it on there like regular grass

You can always guard it like you do a wall with just a paint spray guard 👊🏼
