I call BS on the part about cat. There are many species of cats Native to North America's North West coast. In Smalgyax the word for mountain lions or lynx is duusmgyilhawli "Duus"=cat "gyilhawli" up in the hills. Is there an earlier lost name for Lions and Lynx?
