I hate to sound like a geezer, but they're fully clothed, there's no autotune, there's no glitzy dancers behind them, there's not a bunch of lights and background electronic music, there's nothing except pure joy. I was fortunate to have spent some hours just jamming with Dash in Massachusetts a long time ago.

I was 12 in 1972 and just getting turned on to all of the tremendous singer songwriters of the time. Seals and Crofts, Joni Mitchell, Jackson Browne, James Taylor, Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Carole King, Gordon Lightfoot, to name a few. It was a great time to be a kid and buying records and listening to FM radio.

It's NOT the rock and roll Hall of Fame. They are putting all types of music in there to be politically correct. Just change the name of the place or build a new one and set strict rules in place.
@garycrabb98053 жыл бұрын
@@user-ru6mq5sc5n that I totally agree with!! Loved to see a CORRECTED ROCK and ROLL HALL of FAME BUILT! But I still say they have put CRAP in this current Hall of Fame. Some of them haven't did NOTHING sheeta compared to Grand Funk Railroad, Foreigner, Bad Company, Sweet, Eric Carmen and the Raspberries, The Guess Who, etc. This Hall isn't even politically correct with no hit wonders and 1-2 hit wonders. Even artist that had nothing to do with Rock and Roll. So anyway, I agree. Change the name and please, please, please, built a new one with rules that does not include what THESE PEOPLE are putting in!

Yes. It creates an experience that's unique to the time, Could be its self reflecting dynamic that identifies or is an example of the riddling juxtapositions that compose and typify a time travel conundrum. Its musical synesthesia also serves as a counterweight against its pop identity, which inhabits a more conventional environment.

I agree. The music of the 70's was so beautiful and filled with loving memories of people, places, and the feeling of carefree days and endless opportunities for fun. I truly wish now was like this. I miss civilized society as it was then. People were more neighborly, kind, and polite. What has happened to humans now? Too fast paced and too much technology distracting us from interacting as social animals. Can i go back and live in the 70's permanently? I sure wish I could. 😔

Yes. So true. More songs about love, caring, and kindness. Do you know the song, "What the World Neds Now is Love, Sweet Love." It was sung by Jackie Dushannon I think. Listen to what the lyrics say. This song should be the anthem for 2022. We humans all need to go back to loving one another and stop the fighting. Too much bickering about nothing, listening to lies on MSM, and fighting about political party affiliation. It's all a ploy to divide us. As a famous political leader once said, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall." When i hear music from the 70's, it reminds us that we are all together as one. We need to be reminded of that fact today! We have more in common than we think. Much blessings. 🙏 😇⛪️
