Absolutely awesome piece of machinery. Read the manual regarding oil points as I noticed a few brass bits that will probably require lubrication. Can't wait to have a can of prrof or vacant 😁

Loved watching your videos having commissioned a brewery many years ago. Priming sugar? just chill the beer a few degs over final as determined by mash temp to allow your secondary. Your shout of course.

Run the line through a ice bath before it goes into the solenoid, make sure the tank is cold. The final step which I think is the trade secret is clamping the beer line to cause a uniform reduction of flow. Boom we do 4 cans a minute with the blichman beer gun from kegs or 2000l brites. Clamp that tube. HARRY need help with programming HELP.

Money well worth spent on a cracking machine adding value to the brewery, look forward to seeing it in action. Cheers good luck for Saturday.

Good to see progress and back to business :) as a suggestion, when priming in bulk for bottling I transfer brite beer to a secondary/conditioning tank with sugar solution mixed to right volume. On the lid I have a slow rotation motor with a shaft that reaches bottom of the tank with paddles attached. Switch it on and leave it for 30 mins to mix. It is important that the paddles don't break the surface to introduce oxygen, slow rotation to agitate not froth.

Have you tried moving the solenoid valve closer to the discharge tube. Line length will cause the co2 to come out of solution going thru the solenoid valve if discharge line is long. Moving closer shortens the discharge. What pressure are you pushing the beer thru the lines. Low is better as it moves the beer and does not agitate the co2 that is in suspension. Takes longer to fill, but no excessive foam. System is looking good. CHEERS ! ! !

My first go with the can seamer led to a lot of mop deployment! Ace job, ace bit of kit. Happy to help test the conditioned end result :-)

I think the perspex cover is a guard to prevent fingers being trapped by the rollers

That's a nice seamer. FWIW I fill my cans the same way on homebrew scale. Fermenter to primed keg through the dip tube. Never had any issues. Cheers.

Don’t give up on can filling with carbonated beer, just have the keg carbonated, and take off the kegs pressure when filling the can. Works like a charm with the beergun :) same principle so it should work for your system as well

Fantastic machine, really exciting times, I've been waiting years to get hold of some Harrisons Beer. Can't wait to be able to buy some soon 😁😁😁😁😁😁😁

Our old bottler would favour different fillers, installed a tri clover manifold above them, made a huge difference.

What is you make sure the can is chilled prior to filling and it may prevent foaming? It seem that would be good. Such a nice system for you to not be able to carbonate chill and package!

To get an even equalisation of filling you need a manifold much larger than the sum of the Cans in your case as close to the delivery as possible. I believe the effect is called Plenum. Works for any fluid especiall air. More importantly the piece of (probably) lexon is a guard to stop you trapping your fingers. If you look back at the footage youre fingers were within a couple of cm of the pinch point of the seaming rollers and I gave an involuntary lean forward to warn you. By rights there should be a safety switch to ensure the guard is in place before you can start the machine. I am wondering if this machine has an EU or British safety certificate. Is it American perchance? No in can't be it would not have a guard at all if it was. The motor looks substantial maybe a 1.1 kW.

So how does the other breweries that fill carb'd beer in tin do it then? ... just slower or shorter distances ??? .... A person would think the whole idea of tins is to NOT carbonate in them ??

I knew you wouldn't make it to the end of the video without opening her up to see how she ticks 😄 Cheers.

Could the drip on the canning machine just be the surface tension breaking in the fill tubes and the beer running out of the length post-valve?
