i tell you what...sean is a major bad ass and reminds me of the late Gary Moore. There just is not enough bad ass creative guitarist out there today but he is definitely one of the best new talents out there

Dallas Bob there is plenty of BA guitarists in Texas alone- Rocky Athas, Jimmy Wallace, Andy Timmons, Jimmie Vaughan, Chris Duarte, Lance Lopez, Billy Gibbons just to name a few... But I do agree that Sean Chambers is comparable to the aforementioned luminaries and each state boasts their own.. The world is full of em, The Nimmo Brothers from Glasgow -Allen and Steve are blazing a path thru Europe.. I am not harping, your assesment was sounded narrow in scope.. Anyway Cheers Brother...The Blues are alive here in Dallas..

Saw Shawn first time in the late 90s at dinasour in Rochester N Y. Wow major player sounding like a mix of Trower, Gary Moore ,stevie Ray.moved to St. Petersburg Fla ,and saw Him many times at a club down there called Ringside an old boxing gym , he's from st Petersburg. Another phenomenal player ,unnoticed.

Cool he's playing a hard tail strat (no tremolo bar). He doesn't appear to need or want a trem. You gotta respect that. Just like Robert Cray who also plays a strat with no trem

It's no thing. I mean, practically everyone who plays a Les Paul, SG or Tele, for example, does so without a tremolo bar (unless a Bigsby is installed). Hardtailing (or blocking) a Strat is simple enough. Clapton did it immediately once he starting playing Strats. It's just not part of his playing style to use the tremolo. Just something you do if you want that Strat sound.
