Hi Elliot, Sean's question to you seems like he's really trying to understand himself in a deeper sense. He admitted he's searching for more consistency in his life and admires you for your consistency, yet made assumptions that you won't take risks and that somehow you are missing out on experiences you may enjoy. It's like he is concerned that consistency for himself may do the same thing. Your explanation that you are taking risks on a daily basis by trusting people and believing in their goodness was inspiring. I also loved how you leaned in and asked him to look you in the eye when explaining that the vacation to visit him in New York was enjoyable because of the relationship and love you two share. You are showing him that one can be consistent while maintaining a spirit of adventure. It's great how you are present in Sean's life.

Wow! Talk about about not expecting that question! Once again though, you answered it so truthfully, and succinctly Elliot. As only you ...can.Bravo Sir! I believe one of John's amazing qualities, was that he had a great sense of who people really were.He could suss out the genuine people, and equally the BS people a mile off, and rarely suffered fools gladly,as a result. That is why I believe, he developed such a strong bond of friendship with you Elliot, and it is wonderful to see that you continue to have an equally strong bond and relationship with Sean.Possibly a very different one, but equally just as strong. If not... more so.I think John would be very pleased. Thanks for sharing this Elliot. Hope you are keeping healthy and safe. P.S Love, LOVE, the website!

Elliot, you are a man of many talents...I think you are a wonderful historian, and I greatly value your perspective when speaking on some of the tumultuous times of the past. Thanks as well for being such a close friend to the Lennon/Ono family. It seemed that John could only trust a few people, and you were surely in that inner circle.

Sean and Eliot do have a true friendship. He is more concerned about Eliot's quality of life than giving a perfect interview for posterity.☆☆☆☆☆☆☆

Quite marvelous exchange. If only your website was as user friendly as your youtube channel, Mr Mintz!

well, it was my intent to create a website that would slow people down. no table of contents or index. the thinking behind the presentation was when people were looking for a particularly well known public figure, they just might stumble upon someone or some subject they never heard of before, especially with regard to the 'spiritual material'. it was more about discovery than expediency. for those in a hurry, we have exported some of the highlights from the website to the 'official you tube channel'. it works better for those in a rush. i also happen to love old jukeboxes.

with all due respect to my old friend, john woud not have been a very good interviewer. he was a passionate and highly opinionated man. if he was in disagreement with his 'guest', he would have expressed his own thoughts. that's not what great interviewers. one of the reasons we loved john was because he would never hesitate to voice his opinion. he was one of the most out spoken public figures of all time. in his personal life, john and i had many 'mini-debates' on issues we felt differently about. but he never let anything 'slide' that challenged his point of view.

@@elliotmintzvideos well said! Really admire you and your work by the way! Love from London, England. Just before heading in to yet another very gloomy 4 week lock down!!! Would be great to know John’s thoughts on this too. Xx

The question sean asked is very interesting, but i can see you are scared to come out of your comfort zone as you are very much use to it after 40 years. That is very nice for sean to invite you go!

hi yasmin, i think everyone has a some degree of hesitation about relinquishing their 'comfort zone'. but my trip to new york to spend some time with sean felt instantly comfortable. when the pandemic cloud passes, i would like to visit with him again.
