I'm a lifelong New England fan, never miss a game and I mean, I've known this is definitely NOT the Patriots year, but I genuinely will not be upset if the Patriots don't win on Sunday. I mean, even if they were to win and get into the playoffs, I just can't see any scenario that they don't get knocked out in the first round. And I know this game on Sunday between them and the Bills is gonna be... a lot. Definitely emotional. I just can't bring myself to root against the Bills after all they've gone through. And as sacrilege as it feels to kinda like another afc east team, I really have liked this team throughout the season. Not like I do my own team, that's just too deeply ingrained. But, there is something about them, they're just hard to dislike.

I am a diehard lifelong Bengals fan from as long as I can remember…. From watching them with my dad on tv to eating dinner at Wilmington college with them as a 15 yr old campus brat when they practiced there… but Monday night I didn’t care who won after the play…. I didn’t want to see a snap after Damar went down…. All I could do was watch and cry with my Bengals and now my Bills…. I witnessed the same injury in high school when my friend Ray Bear was hit in the chest by a line drive baseball… he dropped just like Damar… that was over 30 yrs ago and until Monday I had not thought about it but all those emotions came back… Monday night The Bills gained a new fan in me and I think millions across the world but since then all I have thought about is #3 Damar Hamlin… I pray for that young man every morning…. At 3 pm and 8:55pm at night… the news today was great… Damar wrote… Who won the game? UC Medical Staff said…. You won Damar…. You won the game of life…. I will continue to pray for him… his family… the Bills and Bengals bc they’re all going to have that what if question in the back of their minds…. Put it in God’s hands bc Damar is proof that the power of prayer is real💪🏻🙏🙏🙏

@@bobmanns3623 yes…. They started cpr immediately then transported him to the hospital within minutes…. Luckily the baseball complex is very close to the fire department…. Ray made a full recovery but it was a long one… it was his senior year and end of the season but he managed to be at graduation with the rest of his classmates even… he was a year ahead of me.

The worst events always bring out the best within us and within our organizations. On Monday night, at 8:30pm ET the most imporant thing on my mind was the Bengals getting a win. A lot changed in the next 30 minutes -- and any competitive feelings I had with Buffalo were vanished. That feeling, where you can look across the stadium and know that everyone in that moment is praying for just one man and just one outcome is powerful and long-lasting. The entire Bengals fandom will always be linked in a very important and special way with Buffalo, and no matter how competitive the future game may be, no matter who wins or losses, we will always part ways as friends.

I believe the Bills and Bengals had a strong link prior Monday and this just makes it stronger. Buffalo and Cincinnati have a lot of similarities, both in the cities and the teams. Same. I'm a New England fan, so they're division rivals but yeah, it's really hard to dislike them. I don't mean just now after this, either. I've enjoyed watching them all season. I have been through a robbery where my customer was shot. We saved him but I remember that haunting over arching feeling that hung in the air when we returned to work. I hear it through this video, in the voices of both Josh and Shaun. I know how hard it is to get back to "normal" and 5.5 days is not enough time to get there. Win or lose I have so much respect for everyone involved. It took me months to feel like myself, I really hope the out pouring of support and love helps to heal the wounds for my guys. We all agree with you! They’re human and seeing there prospective and how they’re doing is extremely important. I hope now in 2024 that athletes continue to support each other like they did 1/2/2023 at 8:55pm. I feel exactly the same way, I'm a born and raised diehard Patriots fan, I never miss a game, I made the nurses put the game on in the hospital when I was in labor with daughter lol Been to all the Superbowl parades when I still lived up there (the 1st three) but I honestly don't care either. I can't bring myself to root against these guys right now. I also don't see New England making it past the 1st round if we get into the playoffs, it just isn't our year and I guess we can't complain because for a few decades there, more often than not, it was our year. But, I kinda feel like its Buffalo's year this time around and I just can't be mad about that.
