Had a similar upbringing as Sean did. Rough to say the least and by the age of 17 both my parents were already dead and I was on my own, but absolutely hell bent on making something of myself because I didn't have anyone and had no choice but to "succeed". Of course, being raised like a feral animal, I didn't have the life skills to make things easier on myself. I'd fight at the drop of a hat and risked jail, losing my jobs and everything that could possibly come with that. One day around the age of 18 I was walking back to my apartment from work and I seen guys training in a judo gym. These dudes were really getting after it and I just felt compelled to walk in and see what it was all about. That day changed my life, I learned that I wasn't shit when it came to fighting and that opened my eyes to the danger I had been putting myself in on a weekly sometimes daily basis. Especially since I had moved to a town where I could actually afford an apartment and I didn't know a single person outside of work. If you're an angry guy like me and don't really know how to let off that steam without doing something stupid, join a gym, any martial art. Be around people who will humble you and hopefully change your prospective on things. At the age of 38 I'm a homeowner and semi-retired, Worked and saved/invested and most importantly stayed out of trouble. I proved to anyone and everyone that it doesn't matter where you come from, if you do the right things, you will be just fine.

I am also a psychopath with a bad past, so I totally understand Sean. I was raised by an alcoholic mother and a crazy grandmother, who both were extremely religious and I received A LOT of beating for looking at girls or receiving 4 instead of 5 at school (I'm russian, and we have another grading system instead of A-F). My school was a regular school, but there were enormous amounts of fighting and the neighborhood was even crazier sometimes. I trained karate and sambo to defend myself and my class went to Okinawa and even won the kids tournament, hooraay. So, afterwards, I became a substance abuser and at the same time me and my classmates rented a little aikido gym on weekends, where we made an mma fight club, where we kicked the living shit out of each other. I graduated with 5's and some 4's and then I failed three universities. I was such a piece of shit all my life, and I try to do better. I started soldering real good(was always into computers and electronics in general) and found a nice job(I was assembling and tuning synthesizers), which I quit because of the low paycheck. Now I train as hard as I can, I have a wonderful girlfriend and I repair washing machines for a living, getting ready to buy a second 3d printer and find a place for my workshop. Damn, I can relate to Sean. I hope everything gets better and better in your life and in your head, man. Congratulations on your victory and, you know, sometimes your inner demon can help you. Or destroy you. The final choice is always yours.

And, guys, never lay crazy girls. They will chase you like a wild animal after that, and you WILL regret it. I mean, not every girl with disorders, but those extremely "interesting" ones, who act completely nice at the beginning, but you feel something is wrong with them. I never thought I'd fight for my life with a muscular brown fucking belt bjj woman, who weights more than me and can pick me up with ease(I'm 76kgs). And she hits like a sport car. She wrote entire poems to my new gf and swore to rip out her internals. NEVER fuck crazy, ladies and gentlemen.

Sean is disgustingly on point when he talks about society separating “problem people” and it’s good to hear him acknowledge he’s one of them. People don’t wanna hear it but people end up in places for a reason. And at some point you have to limit certain peoples freedoms so they don’t fuck it up for everyone else

Most of what he says about his upbringing brings me back to my own upbringing. Being around drunk parents partying all night and missing school because of it, running through alleys all night, up to no good in the white trash neighborhoods, fighting at school and getting expelled, etc.The only difference is I used to want to hurt people and fight, but since I've become an adult and separated myself from my childhood friends and geographical areas, I have not felt like that in a long time.

I can relate....nothing feels better for me than going in on the heavy bag. I need to feel the burn, pain and discomfort....I'll peek my heart rate at 200... sometimes more. I'll be 42 this month and the best part about hitting the bag isn't when I'm mad... it's when I'm happy. I can think about my best friends death and the birth of my child as I go in and out of flow state....in the book the Five Rings they call it the void. I'll do it while on Delta 8 and go into another world. Of course you start out light but once you get your lung capacity right...the only thing stopping you from continuing is time. During Covid I did this every week....I quit drinking and focused on improving myself which in turn helped my wife and children....I worked on my mind as much as my physical. That's why I was so upset with my job and this current government forcing me to take the Jab when I was in better shape than everyone around me.

I can relate to Sean 100% I think it has more to do with the fact that in the 80’s when we were in school and early 90’s nobody understood adhd and add, clearly Sean suffers from one, as I do myself. I was told similar things by teachers, and I eventually like Sean dropped out. I’ve had a very successful life since. I spent most of my days medicated and falling asleep during class, just so the teachers wouldn’t see me as a disruption. I have zero respect for the majority of teachers. But I’ll remember the few that actually made an effort for the rest of my life.

The notion that teaching a kid how to fight automatically makes them stop bullying is completely wrong. It works with some kids who are bullying for some reasons and that's it. There are an absolute shit ton of kids that don't have those reasons and literally just pick on others because they enjoy it, think it makes them look cool, or find it funny. Teaching those kids how to fight only makes shit a thousand times worse because now they are more dangerous. I'd rather get punched in the head by a kid who doesn't know how to punch any day. I know this shit because I grew up with plenty of kids like that. In front of coaches and other adults they'd act like a little angel, and when nobody was around they'd kick the shit out of kids who didn't know how to fight back. The main guy that comes to mind, to this very day does the exact same shit. Just a couple months ago he came out of the bar and sucker punched then stomped on this 19 year old kids face for about 5 minutes all because the kid was friends with some guy he doesn't like. He had no personal issue with the kid, just doesn't like his friend, and nearly killed him over it. All because some dipshit taught a little piece of trash like that some shit he really had no business learning. Moral of the story, don't teach the bullies how to fight. Teach the BULLIED how to fight. That 100% solves the problem. That guy I talked about used to fuck with me alot when I was young, but then I learned wrestling and boxing a little bit. We got into it one day, I slammed him on the concrete so hard I didn't think he was ever gunna walk again (he did sadly). He never even considered messing with me again, there was a few times his friends kinda nudged at him when they saw me to come say something and he just sat there shaking his head like "nah"😂😂😂 Now this doesn't exactly solve the problem with him being how he is, but honestly it's likely nothing ever will. Some people are just raised to be pieces of shit from the day they're born, and at some point they can't be fixed. That's something the parents gotta address while they're young or else it's a flip of a coin whether they'll ever be capable of changing.

I wish i had this in the 80s. The boxing trainers didnt want me because of my lack of disipline. I only had the street to learn from. And i loved fighting. Win or lose.

Joe is dead on about Buster Douglas working super-hard and obviously putting forth the greatest effort of his life that night, dealing with the death of his mother. On top of that, standing in the ring across from him, although the greatest fighter we had ever seen in history at that point. That guy had literally walked into the ring on zero sleep after doing cocaine and banging hookers all night with Bobby Brown. I just thought I would mention that because it obviously had an effect also, LOL. For anyone that hasn't seen it, you can find videos of Tyson talking about that as well as Bobby Brown. I've seen them both. Tyson openly admits that now.

Yo why does Joe not include any clip about when Sean was exposing Izzy for jerking off his dog and saying he's Chinese lmao. He tried SO hard to keep changing the subject and Jaime all the sudden forgets how to work a computer and spends 5 minutes to find the wrong video that Sean pulls up in less than 30 seconds when he whips out his phone??? That was after Joe shot him a glance and answers for him saying Jaime's never seen any of that stuff before lmao. Very sus.
