That boot floor repair was pretty shocking! I've got a similar patch in my boot floor I'm avoiding for now. You've definitely got a fair bit of rust to deal with!

Hi Sean I have a mini in similar condition. I would recommend replacing the complete boot floor ,heel board and interior floor and sills. You will find old repairs and rust everywhere . You will need to weld braces to stop the shell twisting then cut all rot out. It will cost more but it will save a lot of time,and you will end up with a better car. Also don't use the cheap panels , they don't fit worth a dam and will cost you more in time. Good luck it can feel soul destroying at this stage. You have to keep moving forward.

Thanks sportshatch! I've resigned myself to the full works as you've said. I'm gonna go for a heritage scuttle and boot floor/ inner wheel tub. A lot of folk are recommending mmachine wings and floor. Whats your thoughts on these?
