I've said this before and I'll say it again, Silk, Spider-Boy, Spider-Gwen, Anti-Venom (whether it be Eddie Brock or Flash Thompson), Mayday Parker/Spider-Girl (or any of Peter and MJ's other children in the comics), Ben Reilly, Kaine, Spider-Man Noir, Spider-UK, Spider-Punk, Spider-Ham, Peni Parker, Spider-Man J, Spider-Bitch, and Spider-Man 2099, all of these are films I'd much rather have than a Madame Web movie.

I think the best way to introduce Madame Web to casual moviegoers would've been to put her in No Way Home rather than Doctor Strange. For most people who dislike the MCU Spidey and the films themselves, it would've made more sense to introduce her in that. Don't get me wrong, Doctor Strange did play an interesting role in the film but having Madame Web play the same role also would've worked just as well.

Tbh I think it's an easy fix. They need Lard and Miller to be Kevin Feige, and actually have a live action plan. I would start by actually hiring a Sony Spiderman and establish him as the Sony variant of the Sony universe. Stop this tug of war with Holland. Venom 3 would be the best place to introduce him. Venom vs Spiderman would make a billion over night and restore some good will.

It failed because: -Who tf is Madame Web? Is what most moviegoers are asking. When it looks just like female Spider-Man and no Spider-Man, you’re not convincing much people -February is always a slow month. Let’s be real here that was probably the most money it was gonna make ever. -Most already know about the (let’s face it even if you like it) horrible state the Sony Universe is in. Only Venom ever seems to be the thing to pull people in. -I feel comic book movie fatigue has to be a part of it. Yeah I know I know there’s no comic book movie fatigue only bad movie fatigue, the fatigue is that it all looks the same. People weren’t gonna waste their time with another run of the mill looking cbm. -The reviews most certainly didn’t help either. If there is bad comic book movie fatigue which there most certainly is, and a low rotten, iMDB, even Letterboxd score? I'm not sure Sony cares about recovering. What I mean is I don't think Sony is really trying to build anything I think there just doing these movies as low budget cash grabs made for little so they still make some profit with combined theaters and streaming and dvd and bluray. I think the only plan is do these cash grabs then bring there own characters eventually into contact with Tom Holland Spiderman at some point and cash out.

Look, Sony doesn't know what they're doing. Any body that agrees to do a movie with them is asking for disaster. All actors/directors/producers needs to ABSOLUTELY refuse to do movies with Sony and borderline Marvel to get the message through. Anyone feel Sony are just doing this to butcher Spider-Man's future involvement in the MCU just so they drop it and give it totally back to Sony, like it's hot garbage. No way these executives watch these before release and think "this will do well" all the Spider-Man teases (Venom 2 and No Way Home Post credits, just to suck Tom Hardy back to his world) then the pointless Michael Keaton as Vulture appearance in Morbius, with Sony once again teasing Sinister Six. And you see No Way Home, different Spidey villains close to entering through the portal. I had high hopes for Kraven the Hunter, actually think the trailer looks good, but with this studio, nothing is gonna make this Sony Spider-Man universe work.

21:59 - The only trilogies I can think other than Lord of the Rings that each installment won at least 1 oscar are the original Star Wars and Indiana Jones trilogies. Toy Story came close but the 2nd one did not win any Oscars (animated feature aware did not exist in 1999). Dune could join this very exclusive club in the future (assuming a third movie gets made and its great).

I don't feel that bad for the the actors who signed on to this because it would make sense to me to negotiate into your contract that the movie I signed on for will be the movie that gets made and if it's not then I should have within my contract a clause that allows me to back out if things drastically change in a way that I don't agree with. That's what I would have done if I was an actor in this movie or any movie really.

Then If Your Franchise Like Marvel Becomes Very Successful, Make A Prequel Trilogy, or A Tv Show/Movie Based Of Side Characters That Are Apart From Your Main Characters And Just Slowing Grow And Take A Breath. let The Audience Get To Know You And Ur Idea For A While (Maybe A Couple of Years) And Trust Me.
