I use pretty much exclusively Vallejo model air paints. I only get those white spots with the blues. I honestly just move them around while they are still wet and call it post shade fading lol.

@seanerk5kt9 exactly lol. Thin the blues with water and the white spots are lessened.

My favorite part is when you applied the final flat coat using Windsor & Newton UV varnish thinned with Vallejo airbrush thinner. Breathtaking. 😮

Wow, just Wow. Absolutely amazing work Sean... That has to be the nicest 1/48 Corsair I have ever seen. Really enjoyed following the build series and looking forward to your next Project. Take Care :) Cheers, Andrew.

Another awesome build, thanks. I would love to see you build a 1/48 scale B-17G called "A Bit O Lace" in all her dirty, grimey, weathered glory. Not too much in the way of interior detail, but oh man, will the exterior challenge you. Thanks again for sharing your skills.

I love it mate! The Corsair is one sexy looking warbird. I reckon this aircraft is reponsible for the beginning of hot rodding when the boys who were lucky enough to make it home after the war, had some coin and bought up all the wrecked cars and made them go again with their newfound mechanical skills.

Great build!!! For tires, not sure if this is best, but I hear them slightly over a candle and the gentle push down on them. It gives that natural bulging of the tire and makes one flat area. Must handle with care cause you can push too hard or warp if you’re not careful but have been happy with my builds. This is freaking awesome version. Though. Great work.

@@Leescreativeart I’ve done that with rubber tires once. Like the idea, I’ll have to experiment with some spare tires.

I have heard of using a low temp hot plate or even an old skillet to put the tires on. Use spares to get the hang of it ;)
