Hendrix had something… I don’t know what it was. His fingers, arms and hands with his stage presence was just…it’s like he was comfortable and loose and he didn’t break a sweat laying down BA licks left and right. And you my friend, emulate that PERFECTLY. One of the best Hendrix covers I’ve seen in a long time. Rock on!

Eric Johnson did the best Hendrix covers I've ever heard of besides SRV. Jimi died 54 years ago. Some 10 years after his death, Stevie did another three, and he did such a great job that those covers became songs of their own. While attempting to cover any of those, one has the choice of covering Jimi or SRV. Or both. And then - make it YOURS. That's a huge task, my man, and you nailed it pretty damn good. Hats off.

A sunburst Strat is just another level. Especially a maple fretboard sunburst Strat. Beautiful And while I'm a humbuckers kinda guy, hard rock and metal is my music, and team Tele, the Strat played expressively like this is the most musical guitar around.

You always bring out all the pallets of a strat... this take is no exception. Again, great dynamics and voicings. I am noticing that your picking placement is located near the neck... As others have mentioned - the Egyptian phrasing around 3:35 really pops and offers another view (contrast). Great take for sure!
