His fingers, arms and hands with his stage presence was just…it’s like he was comfortable and loose and he didn’t break a sweat laying down BA licks left and right. Eric Johnson did the best Hendrix covers I've ever heard of besides SRV. Jimi died 54 years ago. Some 10 years after his death, Stevie did another three, and he did such a great job that those covers became songs of their own. While attempting to cover any of those, one has the choice of covering Jimi or SRV. Or both. And then - make it YOURS. That's a huge task, my man, and you nailed it pretty damn good. Hats off.
