What is the name of this guitar your using? And is the body ash.? Also what year? Do you have jumbo frets on all you strats and other builders of strat guitars. What are the pickups, magnets are they alnico 5. SETUP? I'd really like to know these things. I'm giving serious thought on signing up for your lessons. But I don't read tabulatur never have and don't read music. Always learned by ear. I find it difficult to count . I've been playing I guess to long. I tend to try to count rhythm for each note value, but end up going off jamming or playing exercises.

​@@DrAdams-fx6gy There are good to great free level phone apps for: Sight Reading, rhythm training, Ear Training. I don't think a good phone app is possible for fretboard learning, review KZbin videos,. I did see one great one that I'll base my own learning on, it won't be quite what they advise, The phone apps above are not intended to be games, but using them is very game like. The physical nuts and bolts are nothing compared to well practiced and happy head & hands. Good guitar set-up also beats the hell out of any brand name or advertising hype. SEARCH: nut and bridge compensation for some eye-opening stuff, action height is another thing to be extremely fussy about.

"Cover" just doesn't do this kind of stuff justice. It's too authentic. Too damn good in its own right. Like when SRV played something by Hendrix. There's too much emotional content and virtuosity. There should be a new word for it. Maybe something like... re-creation.

Your playing is such an inspiration! Seriously, whenever I find myself lacking motivation for practicing on any given day, I watch one of your videos and they always get me up and playing! Something I would be really interested in seeing is a "behind the scenes" video of sorts where you kind of guide us through your approach on transcribing songs and creating your cover for it. As a student, I am currently struggling with trying to make unique covers of my own, and I guess I would just absolutely love and appreciate just seeing a glimpse into your process!
