if tiny children are more articulate than your peers, i feel sad for you. especially because you consider them to be your peers. making an assumption on ones ability after watching a youtube video is kinda crazy. especially when one kid replied with "Thanos" after being asked what they would like to be when they grow up. Talk to the kids for more than 5 minutes about something a bit more complicated that "what would you like to be when you grow up?" it would be similar to asking a child their favorite color and being amazed because they could say something like "I like red" Must be a bad Uni if that's the case... These kids are smart but to make such a claim is obnoxious.

I"m American, but from age 2 to a little past 4, my family lived in Spain. I'm told I spoke fluent Spanish. Then, we moved back home, and I forgot pretty much all of it as I grew up. When I took Spanish in High School I wasn't any better than any of the other students, but my teacher did compliment me on my excellent 'Castillian' accent (which is, of course, where we stayed).

Lorni Lula -- From 5 to 7 years of age, I was being molested by the little girls in school! They would gang up on me and take advantage. :-( I was a small boy and those little girls would pick me up and drag me to the far side of the playground where other girls from our classroom would line up and proceed to force kisses upon me! I guess I liked the attention and their affection but the other little boys in school used to tease me because I was kissing girls. (It wasn't considered the masculine thing to do at that age.) :-(

The look on those kid's faces and the spontaneous laughter when you started speaking Korean was hilarious! It seems like it would be hard to learn any Asiatic language like Korean, Thai, Japanese, or Chinese, because it is so radically different from English in the general phonetics and pronunciation. Languages that are somewhat based on the 'latin' alphabet are easier to work with because you can generally figure them out phonetically. Spanish, French, German, Italian, all share at least some rendition of similar words to English.😉 These kids are going to be able to excel in later years because they are not locked into a single language to communicate with!😁👍

My wife of 35 years, is from the Philippines, she speaks English very well. When I hear her talking on the phone to her relatives, I hear both of them use some English words in-between their Tagalog. And their reasoning for that is the exact same as what these young kids said. I find that amazing.

요즘 아이들이 다 저렇진않죠. 예측컨데 경제적으로 중상류층 이상 가정에 부모가 유학파, 전문직일 확률이 매우 높습니다. 저 아이들 자체가 이중국적이거나 외국인학교에 다닐 가능성도 높고요. 이중국적 아이 부모들이 미래에 한국 국적을 포기할 것에 대비해서 유독 영어에 신경 많이 쓰죠. 매달 수백만원씩 고액 영어유치원이나 학원에 쏱아부을겁니다. 강남 사는 내가 보기에도 주변 아이들이 다 저 정도까지는 아닙니다. 이런 영상보고 자괴감 느낄 사람들이 꽤 될 것 같네요. 다 쓰고 나서 영상 후반부보니까 고액 영어학원 홍보였던거야?
