The fancy brass leaf looks like an acanthus leaf which was a popular decoration on cathedrals, etc. It might be very very old. The history of the meaning of the acanthus leaf is very interesting.

Very nice pieces. The copper deer in a frame is very pretty although a deer ran into the side of my car last week and pushed in the drivers side back door. I’m not happy with deer at the moment. I love the way the desk organizer cleaned up. It’s very beautiful. The cottage upstairs is looking like an almost finished space. ❤

I am surprised you can't find a spare ink well ;) the glass that is. The other pieces are lovely. Mrs. Elltringham my Form 3 Art Yeacher showed us the real basics on the brass rubbing, mine was crap, her nephews was a deer and got the class award. That inkwell looks like an old Quink or Waterman ink bottle - I think you can still get them, so that might be a temporary solution as a replacement for your broken inkwell.
