I love your videos and never miss a day watching. But I must admit, watching you guys do all that work is killing my back. :) I love renovating homes. We had an 1887 Victorian in central California that was haunted by a little girl. We didn't keep it after our youngest son, who was three years old then, said he was no longer playing with that little girl because she wouldn't share his toys. When my wife asked which little girl, knowing that the girl next door was in school, he told her, "The girl that lives in the closet" in their bedroom.

With having Yanis learn from Simon all his plastering skills it has meant that plastering work could continue on when Simon can't be there. This also means that when Simon is able to return each time his work load is not as big, nor needing to squeeze in as much into his allotted time. Well done gentlemen. 👏

The library is starting to look amazing. The only thing I do notice, that I have been wondering about…the condition of the library cabinets. Some of them are in pretty bad condition. How and when are you planning to refinish them properly, if at all? I’m sure others are wondering as well. Thanks, Billy…👍

I too noticed how dry the library cabinets are. These cabinets have gone through a lot of changes temperature wise, they appear to be strong and solid. I am certain once the library is complete the restoration of the cabinets will be done.

Can you build your own secret room in the gap under the beam between the dining room and the library. You could put a couple of sheets of plasterboard inside it and stick photographs, documents etc from the renovation. Create a hidden door in the space between the two doors.

If might be wise to install air vents to circulate the air in the enclosed space between the walls and plaster board, it will help reduce moisture and dryness .. Just a thought ..
