Seapreme Court 35mm IB Technicolor

A 'Little Audrey' Cartoon from Famous Studios, directed by Tom Golden (!). If you're watching this you probably already knew that! The color and sound is really beautiful on these old Technicolor prints... sorry for the splices!

I’m sorry, but while this is certainly a magnificent rare find and restoration. The splicing and audio skipping REALLY hurts this one. Plus… it’s not really THE BEST Little Audrey short… (though what you consider the “best” of this series is up in the air). This is why these shorts needed other characters from the comics like Melvin, Lucretia, Dot or Lotta. Someone for Audrey to really bounce off of so we don’t almost always get these cheesy dream sequences.

From what I heard, U.M.&M. actually altered the original camera negatives, and so unless theatrical duplicates exist from that era, those original title sequences are gone forever.
