I was on vacation in Negril Jamaica back in 2000, when a travel reporter disappeared. She was last seen walking on the beach, alone. They never found her alive, nor her remains. People need to be careful when traveling, especially women traveling alone. Even in paradise, there are still evil people lurking around, looking for a chance to take advantage of someone.

My daughter & son in law went to Jamaica for their honeymoon. The first day they were there they were drugged at the bar, luckily they bolted to their room. They were sick for about a day & left 2 days later. They said they were just so scared to even eat room service or go out. I’m glad they got back safe. They still get the willies talking about it. I agree with you 👍 I was in Jamaica bk in 2014 with my hubby n I ended up getting foood poisoning really bad n my husband said I can go get some stuff from store in resort I said no stay here with me n im glad he did cuz the bell boy was trying to get in our room violently shaking the door we had the chain lock on it guess he thought we weren’t in the room when we finally let him in he’s like oh just bringing more beverage for your fridge yet our fridge was full ! It was scary n I believe if my hubby hadn’t stayed in room with me idk man what the guys intentions were ? Yeah always be with someone if you’re out of your own country n comfort zone !

Back in 2007-2008 time frame my wife and I went to the Bahamas on a cruise (Nassau). Sketchy little man tried to get us to sneak into a resorts beach right near the peer and claimed it was to help us find a good beach. We declined and walked away and meet a great travel agent that showed us around safe areas instead. Still believe he had something planned with all of that.
