The search for missing caver Kristopher Zitzewitz reveals a very large footprint in the Gifford Pinchot National Forest. Zitzewitz went missing in 2013.
NOTE: I found a big foot print in this video. I'm not out to prove there is a Bigfoot- God knows my channel would have more views if I had a Bigfoot channel. I am also not trying to link these people's disappearances to a any animal. So I'm stuck in this place where Bigfooters are angry that I don't completely embrace Bigfoot culture while everyone else wants me not to mention the tracks at all. I've chosen to show you the animal tracks I find and let you judge for yourself. Still, I can't help but ask, WHAT ARE THOSE!?

That's Bigfoot's footprint, don't laugh, it is for real Nikia. Great video, don't separate from your mate, stick together all the time. At that national park people have vanished being just a few yards away from their mates.....

That was a very real footprint .To me that was more authentic than a researcher would find .Because you weren't looking for it. I know in Oregon especially Central Oregon volcanic area the forest have huge holes that get covered up by pine needles and branches and you don't see them until you step in it. carry a big walking stick poke the ground in front of you . Be safe God Bless.

You've already pointed out two profound dangers about being in the woods: one, your navigation equipment may be faulty, and two--"it plays with your mind" out here. I know from experience working for the forest service that you can get disoriented in a heartbeat. That comes close to being the major factor in disappearances--never mind the paranormal stuff!

I see you are using Backcountry Navigator which i use also and totally love it! When you were talking about searching in a spiral pattern and it being harder to do accurately I had an idea. I use the Runtastic Mountain Bike. You can set it to leave a virtual breadcrumb trail of where you have been. Perhaps something like this would suit you guys, that way you could do a spiral search with ease and view your trail on screen in real time?!

Forest Lake, I'm not familiar with Rustic Mountain Bike app, but you're absolutely right. A GPS is the most effective way to do a spiral search. In this case, Jacob didn't have a GPS. And I wanted to see what it would new like to do one without. Really the biggest down side to spiral searches and the reason they are rarely done is because they require each member of the search party to spend more time focusing on navigation, and less time with their eyes on the ground. With a grid search, the lead can focus on navigation while the team can focus on searching while also keeping the lead's proximity in their peripheral vision.

Hey Nikia another great vid. May I suggest maybe doing search videos but also do some strictly Bigfoot videos as well. I think once you learn more about there structures and trail signs, you just might believe in it more. It's kinda addicting once you start to embrace it. Stay sceptical but also prove it to yourself that they aren't just wind blown or dead fall. You will also realize that their structures are interwoven and are really solid. Trust me you will be able to tell. They love to stack rocks and bring in rocks that aren't from the area they like Crystal for some reason. That's another form of trail marker along with tree snaps. Good searching my friend and stay safe👍.

First, these are great videos. Keep up the good work and stay safe. I have a question. Can you not keep track of your path on a gps mapping device? Even my phone has an app that will track your walking path. Even though I know that you often don't have cell service, it would seem that a dedicated gps device would pretty much always work. I keep wondering why you have trouble determining where you are and where you have been on a map. Please educate me on this.

It's tough to say, for sure, if that's a bear or bigfoot track. At first, I thought it was a bear, stepping into its own track, but after watching the clip over and examining still frames, it could be a Bigfoot track. It seems to be unusually, long and narrow, but I noticed the toes and the general shape of the foot kinda resembles that of a Bigfoot. The track is of a pretty good size and is pretty deep in the soil. You may have something there. If you look at other Bigfoot prints and casts, they do kinda resemble that print. I noticed you have a lot of Bigfoot-themed videos on your channel, which is great. I like that you're willing to look into the subject, as a skeptic. And, of course, the Gifford Pinchot NF is a Bigfoot hotspot. So, eventually, you're bound to encounter somekind of Bigfoot evidence. If possible, I was wondering if you would actually, try to do a night-outing of somekind. Maybe, with a Bigfoot researcher and see if you can obtain anykind of evidence, at night. Maybe a leave out an audio recorder or use any night vision or thermal equipment you may have. I understand your channel is mostly, devoted to searching for people, and if you don't want to turn it into a Bigfoot channel, totally cool, of course, but I'm just curious, if you got deeper into research on the subject and knew what to look for, while on our outings, you may come across more evidence. I guess I'm really intrigued to see a skeptic, who goes out in the woods a lot, but has never had a direct encounter, or hasn't seen, nor heard any evidence (besides, footprints). Have you heard any possible, vocalizations or woodknocks? I really enjoy your videos, and really do encourage you to research the Bigfoot subject more, because, from what I've seen and heard, there is something going on out there. And really, the only way to become a believer and a knower, is to see and hear all of the evidence, first-hand.

g3ckoizlethal, a night out would be interesting. I'm always listening for the usual and unusual, but thermo would be cool, but I don't of see anything. I have heard tree knocking once, in a different area on the rim of the Columbia Gorge, while I was filming Mailing Fire the Hard Way. It sounded like a three or four inch clean log being hit against another. I didn't mention in the video because I didn't put 2&2 together until later.

I don't like either one of those two ideas for checking out an area. The spiral thing seems pretty logical makes sense seems likena pretty good idea just got to be right on your measurements on that circle deal let's just do away with the confusion Simplicity is always the best in my opinion from my UPS projective position here I say you walk the fire line meaning you are 2 3 4 5 people in a straight line straight out quarter mile turn around come straight back and you do a squares that way nothing's ever left undone one time when I was a kid the neighbor in Pennsylvania was a scout and a x military and he said when I Lost My Boomerang he said I'm going to help you find it and he told me how to do it and we walk this line setup that he showed me and we found my Boomerang over in some mid chest level brush in a field

My father hearded sheep all over the wilderness in Idaho for approximately five years in the early 70s .when I was l was young I asked him after watching some Bigfoot shows on TV if he’s ever encountered any Bigfoot he said no just a mountain lion That was after a sheep that they hung I believe you said it was late at night .

@RatandCat 5 жыл бұрын
Big Red, search and rescue training got me in the habit of wearing the helmet. Off trail searches take you over some really nasty terrain. Plus, there are thousands of small cliffs in this specific area. It would be easy to slip, fall and and sustain a head injury. I suspect that may have happened to Zitzewitz and could have caused him get disoriented. Also there are thousands of small caves and overhangs here filled with sharp lava rock that are extra painful when you bump your head.

Why don't you go to the area where you felt smell of decomposing body? Kris was taken away by supernatural forces roaming wilderness of USA and the world. Here are the clues: a snow storm in SEPTEMBER separated him from mate and made impossible for searchers to look for him. Compasses have trouble working, Mylar balloons which are fav of Bigfoot, bigfoot's structures in the area, the fact that other people vanished in that same area and never were found. Kris was a big man, he had a helmet on, backpack, he could NOT disappear from the face of Earth so easily, he was an experienced caver. Man, you saw those balloons there and they didn't make u wonder anything??? KRIS COULD NOT go far away when it was a snowstorm

1. Bigfoot doesn't exist. I've hiked 700+ miles in this region of the U.S., and never found any sort of evidence. The Gifford Pinchot and the Big Lava Bed are in my local backyard. 2. There are always more rational, scientific explanations for mysteries. Never jump to fantastical conclusions, when there can be perfectly rational answers. The forests in the PNW are dense-very dense. It is very easy for someone to get lost in thick brush and never be found. The amount of vegetation in our area is far greater than most other areas in the US. 3. There are no such things as "supernatural forces." There is zero scientific evidence for that.
