Hi Gabe thank you for stopping by and commenting. I see next week there might be a few days opening for the deep water stuff. You planning to go?
@baldeaglefishingadventures7 ай бұрын
@@fishingaddict5638, Unfortunately deep water is closed until Oct. 1, but I am hoping to take my wife out next Friday if the weather holds for shallow rock fishing!! Hoping to do a video on some fish getting caught, and going over some medical stuff too! I meet with the Surgeon on July 15th! Take care Buddy!!!!!!!!

Ok sounds good. Shallow water is still fun too.

They are big! Since it was so hot out there, we didn’t want to take the chance the fish might die even in the live-well so we released it. Thank you brother.

Delta is usually around franks trac. I start guiding at Clearlake for crappies in December if you ever want to go.
@jamesthomas57737 ай бұрын
Nice red ears for sure! Any thoughts about how and where the crappie might be active there this time of the year? In other words, what search tactics would you use to locate those summertime Clearlake slabs? Did you make any attempt to find them this trip? Thanks! Note: Those big fish made y’all look smaller.
@fishingaddict56387 ай бұрын
Crappies will be around rock piles since there are no other structures. Most of the time you will not be able to see them with LS, you’ll just have to cast to find out. But this trip we did not look for crappies.
@jamesthomas57737 ай бұрын
@@fishingaddict5638 Do you think long-line trolling with crappie jigs or Bandit style crank baits could be effective covering water and picking up solo fish often enough to make it worthwhile?
@robertd82247 ай бұрын
Very Nice video - Looks like a lot of fun!! What type of bait are you using on the drop shop? (worms, grubs, etc??)
@fishingaddict56387 ай бұрын
Just redworms. Thank you.

Glad to see you’re doing catch and release. Most humans would decimate that lake given the size of those beasts! I grew up on a public lake in NYS as a kid and would catch yellow perch the size of your forearm. It was jumbo after jumbo just like this vid. I visited about 30 years ago and all that’s left is 6 inch miniatures.
