Really interesting. I lived in Vernal from 1968-69. Didn’t ever visit that spot. Before that lived at the Red Wash oil camp. You should check out what I think they call Fantasy Canyon. My family used to camp there

Cool place Curtis...I was getting nervous the closer to the top you got...but then I remembered, you were editing and narrating the video, so you must have been fine 😆 I used to watch Aqua Chigger a lot, and still think he's awesome, so definitely have a go with a metal detector 👍

Great video. There is ALOT of history out that way. I know of the lewis. I was friend with Steve Shaffer before he passed. We went to a lot of place out that way. I am surprise they don't have rocks outlining the dinosure footsteps. Thanks for the trip.

I think I have found a place over by John day Oregon. I think might be Spanish. Did they ever leave their mark/name on their rock carving, I turtle, elephant and other stuff. I thought at first that might older at first. It's a mystery 😊

You need a good metal detector if you're going treasure hunting! I'd try to get across the river close enough to go up parts of that old trail where the bridge used to be. They probably had a simple rope suspension bridge.
