In today’s video, we’re leaving our town of Hope, British Columbia and travelling about 3 hours to Squamish, BC. We have 3 days of exploring the beautiful backcountry of Squamish in hopes of finding some abandoned mines, townsites and revisiting some spots we’ve explored in the past.

Hi Adam & Chyanne, some very beautiful surroundings where you were, don't worry about not taking us in a mine each time, I enjoy these adventures just as much, you should do some video's on the little villages and their history plus any waterfalls, lakes etc. Thank you for sharing, much love, I hope you and your family have a fantastic 2023. xx 💞

Hello Sue! We were really wanting to branch out in our content a little, but weren’t sure how people would react. We live in such a beautiful area, with all kinds of fantastic history, it’s hard to not want to share it! I know we’ve said it a few times now, but we really hope you had a great time with family this Christmas and that you had a good New Years too! Xx

We had a nice quiet Christmas, just myself, my Husband and our 17yr old Daughter. We hope you guys had a lovely Christmas too and we wish you guys all the best for 2023. xx 🥰💞

hey guys, you were at mnt sheer townsite and sadly it looks like not much is left of it,,,our version of the epa did work up there ten years back to plug shafts and attempt to stop the acidic drainage problem into brittania creek,, jane camp is a turnoff to the right up old road about one click before the powerhouse you got to,,i have searched around there many times in the past as it was the trailhead to mountain lake back in the day straight up valley following creek to park lane lake and beyond to bcmc cabin, as the story goes park lane lake dam was dynamited in the eighties i think and whoever performed the work failed miserably at demolition math cause the blast sent half the lake down into brittania beach ,lol, the footage of a guy on a radio used to be on yt but i have never found it again, he shit his manties on detination and sent warning to crews below,,when i was on the creek below the dam i noticed driftwood fifty feet above me, wtf moment....... i still have and old flat shovel blade from a mineshaft near mnt lake cabin, been to the summit of mnt sheer, ben lomond and red mnt, nice area to explore, i believe the access is from roads in furry creek now to cyrtina creek, be prepared for a legendary thrash if you try the old route to cabin, enjoy.

Thanks for sharing your knowing of the area! We went to Brittania last year and really enjoyed the tour. Quite a beautiful spot with a lot of history, not all good eh. We hope to go back up next summer, we were pressed for time when we went. Any chance if you know if the swimming pool is still there? I know it was at one point, but they’ve been doing a lot of logging up there. Didn’t know about the cabin. That’d be neat to see if it’s still around too.

@@AdventuresRUs good evening, i enjoyed the tour as well, went through in around 015, we found our way into the old anaconda building in bb at a slack time when tours were not running sometime in the late 90s, it was cleaned up inside nice, at the time it was used for movie crews or music stage as the sound quality is preferable, the baseball diamond and swimming pool in mnt sheer are or were? on the other side of brittannia creek from the powerhouse and a tad downstream on somewhat central level ground, cross the creek by any means available whether downstream bridge or a just beyond powerhouse wade, the bcmc cabin will still be there and it was 3 to 4 hours in from mnt sheer in good times that werent all that good, lol, it will be a jungle, for reference watch some old doctari episodes, lol,, do the furry creek branch road on your mc's to aformentioned creek, trust me on this one! you two safely keep doing what you do till you cant do it anymore regardless of the current regime trying to suck the life out of us, you two remind me of myself in younger days, i always loved a good adventure into the bc bush, happy new year and ttys.
