Very good documentary! I imagine the tragedy and loneliness was only eclipsed by the locals that were here before the fortune seekers of the 1800s

Would be nice if this building got some preservation. At the 8:00 - 8:50 mark, I think that was a set for filming (my guess as least, since that space is built in middle of the bigger room and only has one finished side)

I lived about a 5 minute walk from here. Would often walk around through riverview late and night. Besides a bit of a creepy vibe due to it being all run down, never noticed anything supernatural about this place always loved being here

I just dug out a shaft on the Island with not much more clearance than that. But the adit opens up ALOT inside. I’ll be able to crawl in easy after another hour of digging. Video on my channel coming soon! That’s a great mine! Pretty solid, good echo!

I was up there several times, couple of years ago but didn't go up to that higher adit. . I saw that there was a brand new aluminum extension ladder laying in the short adit thats as far as the road goes. Next time I was up there the ladder was gone. I assumed that some dickhead had stolen it! As it happens though it looks like that very ladder had been carried up and is seen in this video in that drift where the plastic barrel is seen. My faith in humanity restored. Good exploring, guys.

It’s always disappointing to see things go missing for sure. Glad you saw that it was still around lol Beautiful area up there and glad you were able to see it in person. We explored a few more adits up there too, all of which were really neat to see :)
