Brilliant location Martin, looked amazing 😍 The weather was perfect too, the water was like a mirror on the way out 👌 I'd stick with that Ian fella and ditch Jason 😱 he seems to have better influence on the weather Gods 🤣

Nice ..what boats did u use ..red looks like a dagger axis ..what model was the blue one cheers

Red is an 11' Dagger Zydeco - super stable and easy going. The Blue is my 14' Venture Islay - carries plenty for a couple of days out camping, but not full-on sea kayaking twitchyness.

Thanks, Mark! I'm not always a water enthusiast either, but this day was truly special. It's important to step out of our comfort zones sometimes and discover new adventures. I'm glad you enjoyed the footage, and I appreciate your kind words. It was indeed an amazing day! You gotta try it sometime.

Fantastic! Great activity and location for the X3. Where did ye start from? Twomilegate?
@BarnabyNutt Жыл бұрын
We started in Black Bay, near Scarriff, which is great when the wind isn't blowing!

Yes the X3 came into its own for this trip. Getting the hang of it now. Didn't go from Twomilegate. Not sure the name of the location. It was remote anyways

Had a go myself a long time ago, got out in Wicklow 25 September, a Monday, managed a day hiking around Derrybawn, couldn't find a place to camp, all bog. Love watching. ❤❤

"Sounds like a memorable hiking experience in Wicklow, Alan! Derrybawn offers some beautiful trails, but finding a suitable camping spot can be a challenge. I'm glad you enjoy watching our adventures! Thanks for the love and support as always. ❤️❤️"

I bought a sit-on-top kayak a couple of months ago and love it. I can't swim but it's really stable and I bought a hopefully good buoyancy aid.

That's fantastic to hear that you're enjoying your sit-on-top kayak! It's great that it feels stable, and it's wise to invest in a good buoyancy aid for added safety. Even if you can't swim, it's wonderful that you're able to have fun on the water. Keep paddling and having a great time

Did the front of your thighs ache after the kayaking?
@soletrail Жыл бұрын
No too much to be honest. I do a bit of cycling so maybe that stood to me.
@ScottRosa2008 Жыл бұрын
That’s good, I found it was having the legs out straight in front of me that made them ache as there’s no other exercise with them out in front like that.
